From the site "www.poker.se"A swedish site whom is really serious and you can say an embasador for the swedish poker community! ;)

Have written this : Ägarna av Pitbull Poker har efter anklagelser om fusk stängt ner sin site. De har även blivit gripna av polisen på Costa Rica.

Meaning The ownerS of pitbull poker has been arrested after being acusted of having "super users" on their site. Its Confirmed that they were Cheating and the site is Down for good.
About your money whom you have lost i have no idea what you are going to do :S!?

That report is not accurate. See my post. The owners got taken in for questioning, and it was about running out on employees, and not about cheating or superusers.

You mean this post?

FYI....

According to this Bluff Latino America piece, there were some arrests made when the night shift employees grew suspicious and asked the police to stop it.

It seems to be official. The owners of pitbull poker were arrested and pitbull poker is out of business.

All one has to do is look at what the owners had their fingers in previous to poker and you would understand.
I’m honestly surprised they lasted this long.
When they first started up, they gave you free 10 bucks to play around with, which drew (of course) many players.
However, after winning x dollars in there, I wasn’t allowed to withdraw, for not having earned enough points at the ring games.
Fair enough then, I then deposited, won some more, THEN tried pulling out my original deposit.
They STILL wouldn’t allow it, because I hadn’t enough points at the ring games.
Well maybe I don’t WANT to play ring games, ever consider that? I wrote support and told them, “listen, take back your free 10 bucks you gave me and let me have the monies that I DEPOSITED. Nope, they wouldn’t do it.
Only site I’ve ever played on that won’t let you have money back that you deposited.
They are scum of the highest order.
Look into their history pre-poker you will see it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

I never deposited there but had built up a very nice bankroll and had tried several times to withdraw my money there even after playing up the points in ring games there also but was never allowed to withdraw my earnings im glad they are out of business they just give legitimate poker places a bad name.

bottom line-----------READ THE FINE PRINT

their rules were listed...and it was possible to clear the requirements...eventually.

Does this mean that I will not be seeing any of this?ScreenHunter 01 Oct 02 1011

Not even any action to play....LOL

Good thing I withdrew after meeting the bonus requirements. Turned $50 into 250 in about 8 hrs of $1/2 Limit...Worst site and players ever in history of online poker. As soon as I hit that bonus I withdrew all but a couple of bucks! RIP BullPit...

what a sweet, juicy story this was to read about. i think i have $10 in there. they only gave me a $5 freebie. and won the rest in freerolls...didn't play there very long, didn't really like the people who played there or their attitudes...or the rake

Darn second site to close up shop on me when i had a balance. First Duplicate claims 6 bucks now pitbull takes my 4. Good thing i never deposited. Only thing i semi liked about the site was it was flash based. Overall the site wasn't any good anyway so no big loss in my mind.

Just logged into Pitbull and my money is still there, but no games or casino. That sucks, cause I would play there when I had no money on FT. X

MORE INFO ON PITBULL

What is the scoop on PitBull Poker? There has been a lot of talk about a cheating scandal involving “super user accounts” at Pitbull Poker lately. Since the accusations started the staff at Pitbull Poker have stopped replying to customers emails and they are no longer sending out any hand histories to their players. And to top it off there have been a lot of cashout problems lately after Pitbull Poker decided to cap the payout requests at $100 per account.
Pitbull Poker is a tiny poker network in the online poker business and they are now being accused of having a couple of super user accounts playing on their sites. For those of you who are not familiar with super user accounts we can tell you that these accounts are said to have the ability to see all the hole cards of the opponents at the poker table. Since the rumours started about this scandal Pitbull Poker have been avoiding the media which makes the whole situation very suspicious. Read More.....

I googlled and it looks like they are indeed closed. I tried logging in as I did have an account but you cannot go into any games. None of the games are open. Looks like they are indeed out of business.

"Googling it" just shows that a lot of people are SAYING it is closed. But if you go on, as I did and just did again, the poker games are all empty, but the casino is still opening, as well as the cashier. So it would seem they are not "out of business" completely yet.

I opened an account but never deposited any money, only played a few times and did not like it much. Glad I never gave them any dough!

I don't know how you can say it is "defiitely closed", because one can clearly logon (I just did), and see one's balance, and even play casino games. The poker games are shut down, but the site is still there and functioning.
And from this and other threads, we now have the info that the owners were arrested and questioned and being investigated, but they are not being HELD.

So what that means, is that if Pitbull works out it's problem with CR employees, and so on, it might well be able to get back and hopefully they would want to also setting with players as well. I know many will think that a longshot, and it may well be, but also consider this: they wanted to do a getaway in the middle of the night, but now that they were caught red-handed in that and everything as been exposed to the light of day, well now with that they may decide it less damaging to settle up.

Yes, Chaos, now I can no longer get in.
Earlier in this thread, I COULD still get in, and even played a hand of blackjack to prove it. But now it's really closed.

I had $40 in freeroll winnings on the site.

I was going to make a deposit through PIC Club. So, I could remove the money. I'm glad, know, I did not deposit.
