I'm glad I never registered with them...I hope y'all get your money back though...but I'm sure it will be after lawyer's take most of it!:(

No money will ever get to the players. Even if there is an investigation-the money is long gone....:(

Hey Decker, good to see you over here too!

I understand your sentiment here, but there is at least some slight chances that this case might be different than some of the other horror closures. Because the Costa Rican locals are involved, and because they were caught red-handed attempting the "midnight shuffle" there's at least a chance they'll be held accountable. And surely known as a "flight risk".

If they had gotten away with the midnight shuffle and gotten way, then there would have been I would so no hope.

The other odd thing in all this is that I see a lot of the news sites naming the CEO, but when it comes to naming the 2nd in command, they say "known only as Jordan". Which is odd, as there are plenty of sources I saw earlier clearly naming "Jordan Nixon". Even the ex-employee whistle-blowers leave that info out, and it's odd....

I feel for all of you who may have lost money here.

This is a great testimonial to the concept of sticking with the more known online poker businesses.

Ok, and i would like to make one point clear... Their is NO PROOF, that there was any cheating going on. The hands that where posted on 2+2, where dumb bets after the flop, well calling a raise with crap.
Even the ones at 2+2 know this.

That's very true. But there is proof that they tried to go in afterhours and pull out all the computers and computer records when they got caught. That fact does not help their case against any insider cheating allegations....

for me is really not important if there was cheating; i will not know if there was any...

but i know, that i do not get my money from them, so i wanna prevent that they will make money on other ways... they will have enough money from their former users they do not pay!

Kinda hard to prove, considering Pitbull refused to release the hand histories for the thousands of hands in question. (After initially stating that they would release them).

Now a question....if your site was being accused of cheating on a major poker forum and you could disprove this by releasing the pertinent data, wouldn't you do it? After months and months of boondoggling, it has become abundantly clear to any rational person that this site was not on the up-and-up.

And toward the end of the 2+2 thread, they actually identify several of the super-users by name.

I found their site to be very fishy after trying it out with their free $10. I figured something wasn't right when my cards got dealt face down a few times and others at the table told me what I was holding. Sorta made me wonder if others were seeing alot more hole cards than just the face down cards.

You haven't been reading the end of the 2+2 thread if you say that. Sure there were names of the accused floating around, but they have all been shown to be almost for sure not superusers. A couple of players running bad or wanting to blame their bad luck against certain players on somebody besides themselves brought the site down all because the way they talked made them sound believable. Everyone who didn't like Pitbull jumped on the bandwagon and fed into the frenzy.

Look at the hands and the graphs. They pretty much show that the accused had normal stats. And yes there are hands. Over 35,000 of them. Not released by PB, but they were dug up.

your cards were dealt to you facedown so you couldn see them? but other could????......so if they were telling you what you were holding..how would you know if they were right..if you couldn see your own cards?

maybe im misreading...but it doesn make sense

:) I see how funny that looks now. I guess I should be a little more clear. A couple of times that my cards were dealt face down, there were 2-3 players asking why my cards were being shown to them. Considering that I hadn't said anything about my cards being face down, it was pretty apparent that they could see them. I think this happened twice out of about 25-30 face down deals.

i was dealt face down there maybe once or twice. i, of course, folded. the "skin" of all the cards seemed to change when this happened. had i played there a ton, i really probably would have been po'd and tried to scheme up ways to see my cards, though i really hate flash so i'm ignorant to it. (hey, other than my laptop, all my computers have freebsd! i mean, i'm a nerd, even my morning alarm is set through a cron job)
