Was playing this tourney with multiple re-buys (as long as you had 1000 or less) and add-ons at the first break. Your starting stack was 1000.
With about 20 minutes before the first break, one guy shoved in, got beat, re-bought (at $2) his 1000 stack. Then shoved all-in pre-flop for the next 20 hands or so (it was at least 14) irrespective of his hole cards. He was essentially flipping a coin because most times somebody called him. He won ONCE, right before the break, giving him like 2050. So for a mere $28 (at least) he had 100 more chips than had he called a flop, folded, then re-bought when he had 950. Interesting strategy in a tournament that had a payout of $75 or so to the winner.
Of course, I got a bit greedy after the break, went from leading the table in chips to out the door in 40 minutes And of course captain re-buy was still there!
