How to report player on Pokerstars?

Can you put it in here also please, I'd like to see how much I actually understood, there were some parts that I didn't understand.

I translated the messages from greeklish (Greek with Latin characters) to English , if you want me to write the conversation from greeklish to Greek it's a 2 minutes task for me , no problem, just let me know. Otherwise I can forward the greeklish-English message to refresh your Greek words :stupido:

Normally when two players of the same nationality at a table start to speak in their language it is to annoy the other players at the table and make them lose their concentration, it goes without saying that sometimes it works for them, my best advice is that if You really feel that something bothers you from the chat of two players that you do not understand, go to the table options and deactivate the chat, that way you will play quieter without worrying about what the others say good luck in the future and don't let them mess with you.

You can go to help>contact us and then report chat abuse.

If you have asked them to speak in English they should oblige as it is a chat rule on that site. But I suppose if players do not speak English they still want to chat which is why this happens but should still respect it when asked while you are on the table.

The problem is sometimes players do comment on how they think other players should respond on a hand sometimes, which should never happen and it is harder to spot if in another language. For instance at the bubble of a satellite one player was telling the rest of the table to call the small stack and check it down. While this is the correct play normally and many good poker players would naturally do this it should never be openly discussed and becomes a type of collusion.

It is better if players try to refrain speaking other languages while they are in a live hand out of etiquette if players are objecting but I doubt this is a method for overt cheating.

to report a player or game problem you have to go where it says help, click here where it says contact there opens a window where you have to specify the problem and then give the tournament data player names

You point at the avatar of the player and there you press do not show messages of this player. And if that the not like with themselves players, then contact in service support you will help.

I am very new to the forum and to online poker too.
Yesterday was playing a 1.1$ buy-in KO tournament on poker stars.
Noticed two players from Greece chatting between each other on short texts on their own language(note, that only English is allowed). One was having over 30k, other one over 50k chips, while the start is only with 3k chips. I am confident they were sharing their hand cards, which would obviously help to reach amount of chips like that. While playing I didn't find any button or option to report or block the player. Any one had the similar situation and knows what to do?

Is different, but I find that rather hard to believe, you can just exchange information on the game in other chat, it makes no sense so brazen to do

you cant assume that they are cheating. because i was say hello or some other bull to my fellow countryman. i see russians, ukranians etc... they all speak in their language. i dont minda. and if they are cheating what comes around goes around

I think pokerstars does a pretty good job of catching the cheaters, I was refunded several times.

Cheaters will go broke eventually! Hate when this happens especially in KO last week I was playing with two Russian players and they would share chips every second hand , like if one was about to burn and the other one had plenty of chips they would share them!

Do you know how many times I have witnessed Brazilians or Russians talk to each other at tournaments ??? COUNTLESS !!!! Do you know how many times I have reported them ??? NONE !!! I don't have time for this , and I believe Stars or other poker room , without strong evidence of collussion , won't bother checking this report/chat's logs , it's a waste of time

And btw , it's the first time I read sb has complaints about Greek players chatting , maybe because they aren't too many so it's hard catching some of gthem chatting lol ?? Maybe because they don't like each other and they don't chat usually among them LOL ?? You are the first one I see to complain , and without knowing what they were saying , omegalul ......

Greek people are not the only people that can communicate using the Greek language. ...

...Your theory is flawed, no smart cheater would do what you are saying....

I had to laugh as I read this my cousin, whom lives in Greece now, grew up in Africa and lived in the States for a short time. She speaks 5 languages and one of them is Swahili. She was on a train in Manhatten years ago and two African men were speaking to one another in Swahili and making fun of the people around them. When my Cousins stop came up and she spoke to them in Swahili, not sure what she said (she told it to me over 20 years ago) but I remember that she mentioned both their mouths were wide open as she exited the train.

Not sure what the odds were that those two would have run into someone that speaks Swahili but had to less odds than someone understanding Greek in a public forum - can't imagine why someone would think they could get away with that <shrug>

I would hope nobody is that dumb, but lately, little surprises me anymore. But all the points I would make have been made above.

I have been playing poker stars for more than 5 years, and I notice that there are days when I am just kicked out of the tournament, no matter how I play well and with good hands, maybe I just have it? But playing 6-10 tournaments in a row and never double .... it's unbelievable. respond to those who have exactly the same thing happens?:reddy:

Dose kind of communication wouldn't be done through chat on poker stars. If they were to cheat, they would speak through Viber, WhatsUp, Skype or something similar. Faster, no proof and you don't have to type.
