How to report player on Pokerstars?

Hello all,

I am very new to the forum and to online poker too.
Yesterday was playing a 1.1$ buy-in KO tournament on poker stars.
Noticed two players from Greece chatting between each other on short texts on their own language(note, that only English is allowed). One was having over 30k, other one over 50k chips, while the start is only with 3k chips. I am confident they were sharing their hand cards, which would obviously help to reach amount of chips like that. While playing I didn't find any button or option to report or block the player. Any one had the similar situation and knows what to do?

It would be really dumb to use the actual chat function of the poker site itself to collude. Players, who want to do this, have many other means of communication available like Messenger, Skype etc. All, you know, is, that a violation of the English chat only rule took place.

It would be really dumb to use the actual chat function of the poker site itself to collude. Players, who want to do this, have many other means of communication available like Messenger, Skype etc. All, you know, is, that a violation of the English chat only rule took place.

indeed, it would be really dumb to use chat function for that purpose, but tables are changed every some minutes, so it's easier and quicker to use local chat. Imagine yourself as a cheater and another similar person just joins the table and the action is then fully on. No one understand you as you can express yourself in other language. Easier to get bigger stack of chips with some help.

If i'd see player from my country sharing the table with me then surely i'll not speak with him in english

I don t think there is anything wrong with what theses 2 players did , besides not talking English. Incase you want to report somone who did something wrong , in the future , just screenshot the issue and email it to PS support.

note, that they were not simply speaking, in my eyes they were code chatting, similar to like A six, K ten, 67 and so on if in english. One german player also noticed this asking them to speak in english, what one of them replied saying it's only between us, which makes quite obvious that what they were doing isn't a right thing.

.... Incase you want to report somone who did something wrong , in the future , just screenshot the issue and email it to PS support.

Which is also the exact reason, collusion is generally not a big issue in online multi table tournaments and especially not very large ones like a 1,1$ bounty on Stars, which can see 1.000`s of participants. You have to end up at the same table as your "partner" by chance, and how often does that even happen? There is much more potential for collusion in cash games and single table SnGs, where cheaters can agree to sit down at the same table, before they start playing.

Just because they are using the "Secret" Greek language it doesn't mean that no one else at the table can't understand what they are saying, many people speak more than one language, also not all Greek players are "dishonest", Greek players do not like cheaters just as much as you do.

You even say that 100's of Greeks play these games, are you implying that none of them would pull up someone that is cheating.

If you think they are cheating then get the hand histories from your hand history folder and do a translation of their chat which is part of your hand histories. A little bit of simple detective work by you will save you any worry until you have proof, then if they were discussing their hole cards you have evidence that Stars would love to have, until then it is just your opinion.

Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one. Evidence is something different.

Your theory is flawed, no smart cheater would do what you are saying.

N.B. The word Greek can be interchanged with any other nationality.

I'm not offended, I'm Australian and I can speak Greek, My parents spoke 5 languages, if you have your Stars client set to save Hand Histories you will have them on your PC.

Or if you know the tournament No enter it in here

No preblemo.

Make sure you have the "Save My Hand History" set to save, it is possible it isn't set by default, I always max out the days to "Keep Hand Histories for" also.

Even if not set you can get them from Stars using the 2nd method I mentioned.

Instead of reporting the players, you could learn the Greek language and the next tournament you will know what cards those guys have

so, weeks history only showed day and a half history for some reason. I got it the hard way, I downloaded my last 15 tournaments and then started downloading each tournament by their numbers. Got it, thanks again.

I was moved to different table then.

That isn't actual Greek, it's Greek using English that sounds like Greek words, I can't actually read Greek but I understood what most of it was just because I can speak Greek, from what I understood there was no discussing of the action on the table.

This may be construed as coaching though. "i tell him only to go all in with pairs"
