How are Merge sites handling the upgrade?

You would think that they would have tested the software and worked out the bugs before rolling this thing out. Also they could of had a backup plan to revert back to the software that worked if they had problems. Instead they are costing themselves a huge amount of $$ being down this long as well as good will.

I was waiting for someone to post that... It does seem like a snafu... and why not roll back the software like you stated and try to launch this another date in the future... Oh well... hopefully sometime today!

Is it hard for them to work so hard on software that is hardly working ? or will this hard problem prove too hard for their hard working but hardly capable staff ??

May be they tested, but in environment with less traffic perhaps and the huge amount of users downloading updates at the same time doesn't add as well I guess.
Seems today's merge depositor freeroll will have trouble running and some players might lose one chance to play, wondering if they will think about it and add one more day to the validity of the multi-entry ticket.

Also, rumors abound that Lock was heavily involved in the upgrade which they're supposed to be adapting to the Rev. Gaming network later in the month. Maybe they took the traffic and all the programmers.

Lol was able to log in about a half an hour ago finally to Carbon and just saw the cash tables running and no sngs or tourneys yet. Just tried logging back in at 1435 eastern time and back to the server upgrade message and poker will resume in 27 minutes.

Maybe there was a small window of opportunity to open any Merge room?

Mine are all showing different times (& then jumping back & forth).
Pretty ridiculous imo to post '19mins.' & an hour later '15mins', then 35mins, followed by 6mins & back to 14mins. (over a period of a few hours). wtf is that?
