Reader Beware! This information will do you no good. If you want to learn how to play a $1 tournament, then collect your pocket change and enter one. This guys bogus info isnt going to help you win, especially if you are folding TT JJ AQ and AK.

BANKROLL MANAGEMENT
Exactly what's bogus about what I said?I said to fold these hands early in a low buyin sit n go to a raise or a reraise.Of course you're going to play them in late positon.I started this thread by saying this wasn't a game theory thread, or a thread to tell you how to play specific hands.Only a thread to help you target specific tournaments at PitBull to help you build a bankroll. You see,at pitbull the players in these .60x10 man sit n goes are freerollers that made a few dollors or cents in freerolls and then go to these .60 cent sit n goes. It's not uncommon for 2,3 or more people to shove all in on the 1st few hands with any 2 cards just like in the sit and goes they play every hour at the site. It's better to wait for 10 mins then play hands like 66 to JJ and A 10 to AQ. You better have a big pair early,as you will more than likely be put allin by one of these maniacs.....coyboy33

The $50 Guarantee

When You've gotten your bankroll to $50 it's time to move to the $50 guarantees.I still play the $25guar. if no $50guar. is available.See tournament schedule for times. Now we are within the 5% rule and will remain so.With $50x.05=$2.5 So $2.50 is 5% of $50 in MTTs Most Pros state that you should keep it at 2% but these tournies are like a 2 table turbo SnG.So 5% is safe IMO.......Next we will discuss the difference between the $100 guarantee the $100 6 max and the $100 rebuy.....ty...coyboy33..

The difference in the $100 6max, 100 guarantee, and $100 rebuy

The $100 6max is a 6 man per table tournament, with a $100 guaranteed prize pool ,6min blind levels & no rebuys.it is held several times a day everyday at pitbull.8am,noon,3pm,& 8pm est. time.Next we take a look at the $100guarantee, its at 10am est. It has up to 10 men per table.but only if it has 20 entries 18 is 9 per table 16 is 8, etc.no rebuys 6 min. blind levels here too.Next the $100guarantee with rebuys/addon.There are 2 of these in the a.m. hours of the mornings. These are rebuys with addons at 1st break ,otherwise same structure as the 100guar with 10 men,6min blinds.

A PitBull Rebuy Strategy to Live By

Hi Coyboy,

Any more thoughts on this? I want to hear your opinion on how to play the rebuys.

:)
Hello MrFold, Normally in an MTT rebuy I;d tell you to get your rebuy right off the bat then addon at the break if you were still alive. At PitBull, these arn't real MTTs. I call them 2 table SnGs that start at a certian time. They pay twice as well some times as a normal 2table SnG for my trouble which is why put up with the clunky softwear. Now at pit, dont play the $300 guar. It doesnt pay well for the risk. The $200guar. the $400guar. the $1kguar. are all good tournys.Buyin, dont rebuy at all.Try to double up some time by the 1st break which is 1 hour in.Be very patient, there's a lot of push and pray players in these. If you can double your stack or better, then addon during break. You will have $11 invested this way in the $200 guar.,the tournament has really just began and you're within striking distance of all stacks, I guarantee you.If you bust out, It's better to start from scratch in a rebuy here, than throw another buyin after another when youre steaming....G.L./.....coyboy33.....

An in depth look at the $100 Guar. 6 max per table

This is the most popular tournament at Pitbull for the low buyin player. The reason is it seldom has 20 total entries. So you get max value for $5.50 in entry fees. There's on average 15 players in these.Take 15x5=75,yet the total prize pool is $100.$25 extra maybe more to put up with some clunky software,is not too bad.The structure of this tournament is as follows:1000 starting chips, no rebuys.6 min blind levels with a maximum of 6 players per table. This equates to a super turbo.IMO, position is the overriding factor in this format. You won't have time for premium hands.Push and push some more with middle pairs and 5,4s to A,Ks.Call small raises with 8,7s to J,10s reraise with 99 or better.Try to double up early then settle in and play a trap game...GL.....coyboy33....

The $100 Guarantee

The $100 Guarantee is different from the $100 6 max in that it can have up to 10 players per table. It also has 1000 chips to start, 6 min blind levels & no re-buys.It is held 1 time each morning at 10am est.Since it generally has between 12 and 18 players you get extra value for your $5.50 entry.I like to play this tourny with 14 to 18 players total so I'm getting that vital few exta hands to catch that monster. Also with less than 20 players we get added value.Once on the final table it's 10 men so again extra hands as opposed to the 6 max.So I play this tourny a little slower......G.L.......coyboy33.....P.S. Let me know weather to keep this thread alive there's a thumbs up & thumbs down poll on it. Please take time to vote....If nothing else it's funny ,right..?

This all sounds too good to be true. I can't see that the site is making any money if this is the way it goes. Constantly holding $100 guarantee tournaments that only take in $75. I am not doubting you CoyBoy, in fact I will be testing it myself. I am interested to hear from other CC members who don't agree with this. Why do you not like Pitbull poker? Have people had trouble withdrawing from Pitbull Poker? Can anyone tell me anything negative about Pitbull poker besides the software being a little unreliable?

PitBull Bulls Problems

Sometimes, the cashouts arn't processed in the 48 hours it says it is required to do.I've always been paid.It took 14 days to process 1 time when Epassporte went out of business. Most times i get a check in the USA in 10 days from request or less.If your using some E-wallet services out of usa its quick by most services. On weekends the server is slammed and it's not a good idea to enter a tourny as you may not get on your table if you are switched tables during tourny. It's safe during the week most times.A common thing in the 6 man per table tournys, getting switched I mean.I keep Most of my money at other sites, I use this site to build a roll then move it to sportsbookpoker.com , a cake affiliate, and P.Stars to play MTTs and SnGs. Its been a winning formula for me.The value at the $5 level is unbeatable at Pitbull to build a bankroll to move to another site for the $10 to $20 MTTs or SnGs. I keep $500 on pit and every time i get it to 1.5k I cash 1k and move it to my big sites....coyboy33....

Cash Games at PitBull

I'm a Tournament Monster.I play cash from time to time, but My ROI in tournies is just so high i cant justify playing anything else.I feel the cash tables at PitBull are fishy.I really do think that the site has shills that play for them there and work together as teams, just my opinion, no proof.I play the tournies so no skin off my nose.......The value here is the guarantees...and from now on it's all i will discuss...also, as I said I'm a tourny player....so if it's cash advice you need go elsewhere...sorry....coyboy33

$100 Rebuy

The $100 Rebuy is held at 1am and 3am est. time. It has the same structure as the $100 guarantee with 1000 chips, 6 min. blind levels & 10 men tables. It does however alow unlimited rebuys untill the break 1 hour in.An addon of 2000 chips can then be had for $5.To play this properly, plan on spending $10.50.Your buyin and an addon.Dont rebuy if you bust with 1st taking $50 most times and $75 tops investing more than $10.50 in this is foolish bankroll managment.....coyboy33

My SnG Stats at PokerStars

Since I'm giving BankRoll Managment advice here ,I thought I'd post my recent SnG stats at poker stars, jut so you'd know that I'n no knob. It's much tougher to turn a positive ROi at Stars than at PitBull so if someones a winning player at stars $3.40 to $11 SnGs they will destroy the Guarantees at PitBull....coyboy33....

$50 Guarantee

The $50 Guarantee is a very good transitional tournament for going form a small Bankroll to an intermediate one before you start to play the $5 entry $100 Guarantee tournament. Here's how I'd do it from scratch. If I already had an acct., I'd deposit $50 and use Bonus code APR25.This gets you $25 extra instantly.Total of $75 to start. If you are new use bonus code PBPT when signing up.This gets you $10 free and a 200% bonus on your 1st deposit. If your bankroll is $75 you can play the $100 guar. non rebuy tournys. If you slip to $50 it's time to go to the $50 guars. and the $25s.However you can play these also anytime that you can play the $100guars.If you build your Roll to $150 you can play the $200 guar Deep Stack( a Tournamet we will detail next)When you get to $200 you can try the $100 rebuy the $200 rebuy and the $400 rebuy. At 3K Try the 1k Guar......coyboy33....

You,,,,, just like every other newbbie show us what you are when you call a site that gives you something free "a scam" and then cry about needing to get comp. points to cash. This is why.#1.Nothing is free;Yes, PitBull will give you $10 up front to try their site.If you win some money with it guess what knob....?#2.It's in the agreement you clicked "I agree" on when you signed up to this and every other poker room.If you want to cash you must make a real money deposit,,as you would at most sites except pokerstars and maybe FullTilt. The rest of online poker sites, it's deposit time and clear some player points to cash.#3.When you deposit at Pit,for a $50 deposit you can get $25 instant added get the code from the promo page on your home page. get the 200 comp points and cashout your deposit, bonus plus your winnings that you ran up from a freeroll win or two without ever depositing a red cent till now and quit bashing the site you cheap bastard......coyboy33....lmao......really read a few "poker is a scam threads"....you will see that you must deposit my cheap friend to withdrawl a windfall.......

Comp. Points.

Interesting thread. I've found the software ok, and have only had a couple of problems. I built up a little bankroll, but am having a time time getting the 200 pts. Any advice on which games are profitable and rack up points?
Each tournament earns comp. points as follows:1 point per .25 cents in tourny fees paid.So in the $1.25s, $1 goes to the prize pool, .25 is fees.
you earn 1 point. In a $3.30 entry tourny, $3 goes to prize pool .30 is fees again you earn 1 comp. point. In a $5.50 buyin,$5 goes to prize pool .50 goes to fees you earn 2 comp. points. In an $11 buyin $10 goes to the prize pool $1 is fees ,you earn 4 comp. points ans so on.Points add up quick on the .10/.25 cash tables also for you guys that need like 50 or so points to cash....coyboy33

This Thread Isn't For You

If you're here to complain about a scam, a bad beat, etc. This isn't the thread ,there's threads here for that. This is a thread dedicated to helping new players at PitBull Poker build their bankrolls. There's a thread called PitBull Poker Tracker for technical issues, problems etc...this means you...umpinpa22........coyboy33
