Global Poker? US Sites? Rigged?

Hey all - I just wanted to add my experience to the mix.

I started to play on Global when ACR decided to update the software back in the spring, which was a pretty big disaster. Happy they are FINALLY back to almost normal now.

Anyway I decided to check out a couple other clients - Global being one of the last once because I'm wary of browser based systems.

I've experienced quite regular play on Global as compared to other sites. Suck outs happen as frequent/infrequent as they do on other clients.

I've had a high level of success playing on Global. I chock this up to the fact there are a TON of fish there who come over from Facebook, Globals primary avenue of marketing.
I have never had much luck on other clients with the Jackpot style 3 handed SnG games (named different depending on the client). However on Global - I frequently win and it is not uncommon to win 8 of 10. If I don't win at least 5/10 it is a very bad day.

Here are some possible solutions to reduce the 'suck out' that commonly occur.

Stop shoving preflop any pocket pair, 66 thru AA, unless the betting has gone 3bet, 4bet, etc.

Stop shoving on the flop if you hit tptk or two pair. The game isn't won/lost on the flop, unless you shove and give it up to luck to decide your fates.

If there are 4+ players in the hand - the player with the premium holdings is a fish preflop, not betting enough. If you have to shove pre with premium holdings to get respect - expect not to win all the time, but you will certainly get more respect from the other players who are playing any 2 suited junk cards from any position, or limping any rag Ace from any position.

Punish the fishy players and establish that this game is going to be hell if players want to donk limp A rag, continue with small pocket pair from EP and see the flop with any 2 suited. Dominate these fish and take all they have.

I never really took the games on Global seriously (never deposited) because it truly feels like a play money site. The micros (100k and below) are just so full of fish and bad play - it felt so super easy to win. I never have taken Global seriously because if really does feel illegitimate, because it has 2 different currencies, because it is browser based, because the player pool is very Facebook fish heavy, and because the software is pretty terrible. It works - but just feels like a pretend gameified interface.

I wanna talk a little about global poker.... I live in Kentucky which has no casinos and is really hard to play any online sites. Global seemed like a decent site at first but at this point it really seems like the win/lose swings are ridiculously over the top. Seems like every time you receive solid pocket pairs, someone else receives them also an usually better pairs or they hit a set or 4 of a kind on the flop. I know people bitch about this sort of thing all the time and maybe i have just been running extremely horrible.... but it just seems a little fishy the way the site runs. Ive played poker for around 12 years now online and live and the way the cards run on this site are extremely crazy. Makes me feel like they have some sort of player algorithm that sucks you in in a way and then they just run you horrible when you really get your money involved. Idk. I would just really like a trustworthy site i can depend on and can't seem to find that. I got robbed for about 700$ on full flush poker whenever they shut down, and not long after for about 150$ on bet online poker. Not sure what to do at this point.... may just stick to driving 2 hours to Illinois to play live, even though the casino is garbage.....like wtf. Can someone not just offer a legitimate site like poker stars in the US.....? Sick of basically burning my money.. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've found it rigged from losing and winning. I'll win 15 hands in a row suckout after suckout the go two or three days flopping sets of aces and knowing the straight or flush is coming. I'll see pocket pairs and equity force me in and it be statistically the right play and the beat my AK with A x. It's really sad. Once again not complaining I lost. Just how often. I think it's hot up address. Meaning it picks winners. It's not random.

Global Poker

There is absolutely no doubt they are corrupt, and you can see it, multiple ways. The bad beat/ suck outs are far out of line percentage wise. The antagonistic hands, hands specifically designed to be directly challenged, universally, are far too many. It's not even close. If you get a dominant hand, say AA or KK, you win with them far less that the percentages say you should. People seemingly call with hands, all in, suddenly, when all signs say they were playing tight and well. E.G. My KK all in, toward the back third of a tourney, when things matter more, is beat By a guy with (9-5 offsuit, inexplicably. You can't even win on their free rolls. According to their site, I've suddenly become a person that can't win at all. Mind you, I just won 6741 at the borgata winter poker open in jersey, and I've did my share of winning in other times in life, but here i can't win a six person sit and go better than 1 out 15 times. ridiculous. Since I moved on, They have tried to entice back with double your money propositions to reload, which makes no sense, unsolicited. No pro backs them. Every thing about them is corrupt. Stay away.

Another rigged poker site lol. Y'know you never almost never hear of scandals..I loved full flush poker and I loved PKR and I get beat sometimes the lower stakes get a bad rap cause people play anything...and make bad calls. Just my opinion I am a winning player at party poker a year ago I thought it was rigged too...I learned played more now I'm up.i don't think it's rigged

and for 3 days(,I tried it out on the ring games and the next day changed it after a tournament) had tried out a new table felt*part of a survey* I won a tournament that first week and should not have changed it (I changed back to the old table felt and I tried out other fekts and noticed some had pro settings so I can play multiple tournaments with window TABS) anyhow they kept putting a table Felt that you can see the your position during tournaments, I complained, I changed it back and it kept changing back before tournaments I COMPLAINED AND I COMPLAINED I GOT CHANGED BACK AND IT HAS NOT CHANGED TO THE OTHER FELT (A DESIGN STUPID FOR A PERSON PLAYING SO MANY TOURNAMENTS ) the point was made why even have a table felt designed like that for when people are taking snapshots of their cards and positions in tournaments??

their technicians knew that felt wasn't good for tournaments, they knew when they designed the table felt, (they should have known to make it easy to prevent to prevent that unliked table felt from coming back on) so I wanted the technicians to figure out why it kept changing back...

I've played this site before, 2017 I was playing it but I deleted my Facebook account,(it messed a bunch of other sites too when I deleted my facebook account I can't play the other APPP game to GLOBALPOKER EITHER) recently I decided to try it to get into the sight with my email and I was able to, I had just a bit coins and SC, I figured some might say or even complain the new guy wins a tournament too quickly BUT OTHER SITES SHOW I HAVE 1 IN 3 WIN RATIO I don't play some cards, and the cards I play plus betting strategy usually ended me up with a win on average 1-3 hands played, I saw the one table felt has a way to program the other window tabs (when you have multiple tournaments some going on so long the other game starts)

I have a suspicion that the RNG on Global feels worse... not because it is but due to the fact that there is an insane number of donks and fishes.

I have never seen such a loose environment in all of my days playing Online Poker.

In micro sit and goes... it's not uncommon for the majority of the table to be evolved in every hand... even after a 3 or 4 bet.

More people playing till the river (even when they shouldn't) means there will always be a higher number of river suck-outs.

True ha ha ha if more people play till the river
they got a higher chance of what they need will come
Other players can sit back and bet itll COME or it don't COME like craps.. different people have different betting strategies.

Duh people if you are second or first place in tournaments enough then you will have a better win ratio then other players

Something feels very off about playing on Global compared to other sites. I don't know if it's just the nature of playing fish but I have literally had my top pairs/kicker and sets get rivered against the same 2 guys 6 times in one session because they called with draws, despite not having the odds to. I have great winrates at micros on other sites, but global just feels off. The RCG seems weighted towards more action, maybe over a large sample the hands distributions check out, but they feel clustered together for more action to create a more gambly vibe. Or maybe there is collusion? Am I imagining things?

The players on there are literally the definition of fish, OL every hand, raise 13bb pre, yet these are the people I see accumulate the biggest stacks lol.

Figured I'd bump this thread; if you're not going to play higher stakes here, don't bother. It's suckout central at the lower stakes. I likely won't be depositing there again except perhaps for some recreational play.

I conducted a little experiment today... I played like an absolute tool and was crushing it. I felt bad so I chip dumped in a small tournament and cash game. I've tried really hard to give this site its fair shake. But they're way off on something. Either they're actively making the play crappy for good players or they have some massive bugs. My gut tells me it's the former. I do, however, recommend ignition Poker. I've never seen anything unfair there.

The creepy avatars and web interface definitely give global a shady feel to it. But I don't think it's a bad site at all.

It's just a no brainer the softer the player pool the more variance and bad beats you are going to get. You don't get good players chasing bad draws you get bad ones. When they miss their draws they fold, when they hit them they show them down. When you're in a multiway pot with two or three of them the odds of one them hitting are going to be two or three times as much.

Global is a browser based hudless site that pulls people in from facebook. Basically the softest online play in the world. I like it because its more like what I get in live play than any other site. No hud just note taking. Live players are very soft too, at least when compared to online. When I travel I play global, because with other sites I am missing my database/HUD.

YMMV but I think a lot of people give them a bad rap.

After my two short years playing here I am under the impression that the algorithm there directly targets our self control. That's why the more we deposit the faster it goes.
I will also promise you that if you send thea smoking email telling them you know how they seat you and which side you can call to which ones you have to raise. They won't block you. They will plop your butt down anywhere.
At first I thought they were messing with my seating all this time but now I think that implaced at tables with the most ignorant players they have.
I set out and watched player a a lose time after time every hand. Everyone just calling their win. 12 times I watched him buy back in .
When finally I start to play.
Taken out with a flush to the Ace by him with a straight flush.
