Global poker
Never heard of them until I read this post, personally I would stay well clear of them, there are plenty of more reputable site's out there, and although they may not be perfect, I would sooner play on a site that advertise on National Television channels, like Full Tilt, Party Poker, Pokerstars, among many many more that have a reputable history.
When the fun Stops, STOP!
To be fair, they have started to sponsor major events and are doing a better job advertising in the last year or so on social media platforms. As far as the game play, it is very soft (little to no preflop 3betting, no river bluffs, not a lot of triple barreling etc.). I have some complaints regarding interface and loyalty program(s) (no rake back, no points that can be redeemed, site is kicks me off regularly, "pro mode" is a ****ing joke), but no site is perfect.
As for collusion/cheats, well that's just the risk you take when playing an online game with an anonymous field. All the more reason to join this thread and get to know the fellow players. I think once poker is accepted as a mainstream form of
gambling they will start to address some of these matters, however, there are some loopholes their legal team has crafted that allows them to circumvent UIGEA laws. I just hope some clever agent over at DHS doesn't figure it out before it's too late. I went through black Friday and was traumatized from that experience. My advice to EVERYONE... Don't leave more than what you're ok with getting taken, because at any moment uncle Sam can step in and freeze all our accounts in an instant.
