IMHO I would say pokerstars. I like their tournament structure better, I generally do better their than Full Tilt, and not to mention their security features are superb which is very important if you want to have more than $1000 in your account.

However visa doesn't allow transfers to PokerStars (and since I refuse to use eCheck) anymore so I have to play on FTP now (which i'm not doing to well at.) it just seems that FTP's software is just too much of a distraction. The cartoonish avatars make it just seem less realistic (meaning you will make worse decisions, again this is just my opinion.)

Ive never really thoguht of the Full Tilt characters being cartoonish and therefore making me have stupid decisions in important moments, but, you might be correct. Maybe i subconsciously make these decisions and i dont even know it.

I don't know. I think I would have to pick poker stars because you have a better chance with your pocket aces there. Full tilt........... Forget it. They will punish you if you slow play them. lol

It is also extremely hard to get into their freerolls. You have about 1.5 seconds to register for them, sometimes less than that.

I'm gonna go with the minority here. Looks wise and the smoothness of gameplay wise, FT is easily better, but the most important thing to me is integrity so I go with PS.

Some of you may think I am paranoid, crazy, whatever, but so far in PS, I have seen a realistic amount of suckouts (few, about the same as what the odds say), as opposed to the insane amount of BS suckouts. Maybe it's cuz PS players play better, but I've been involved in only one hand where I go "cmon!" so far, whereas on FT there are days that no matter how well I play, I still lose cuz crazy runner runners would hit like there's no tomorrow. If I go in ahead of any straight or flush draw on FT, I feel like I'm behind.

yeah i feel the same......i like both sites for diff reasons. but as you say full tilt is quite infuriating when it comes to getting out drawn on the river, i know ppl will say its all in your head but it just seems to happen more frequently at FT

Personally, i like the outlay of FT better...not sure about navigating the PS site...just that lil bit harder, dates, times etc of events....do agree with some of you guys though on the bad beats on FT...some wreckless players out their getting paid off too much with hands like 83 offsuit holding up against KK....my buddy though works for FT though here in ireland...he said the sight is 100% honest!!! i take his word...cool job he has...gets to play staff tourneys wit ferguson and lederer and rest of the FT team when theyre in ireland...cool!

FT's management doesn't have to be crooked for its game script to be faulty.

I play better poker at PS, but I do agree that their freerolls are way to big.

I think I play better there because I can watch my "status" as I go. No such opportunity at FT.

A major advantage at FT is the color coding I think, but now PS has something similar.

Bottom line, PS for $ games, FT for freerolls and UB for everything else

The rake at micro stakes for Tilt players is gross. 15c per $1, if I'm not mistaken. I kind of feel bad for people who not only don't have rakeback, but are oblivious to the amount of rake they're paying on that site. Private tourneys with a 1 or 2 dollar buy-in will have like a 50 cent fee.

Stars has better tourneys, anyway, so I'm not sure why any micro stakes player would go for Tilt. It's a ripoff.

Anyone who picks a site based on the bad beats or the luck they have there isn't thinking rationally, its random. Just go by what software, tournaments, and player base you like more. For me that is PS, couldn't get into the look of full tilt, though I would like to play our freerolls there if I'm ever available for one.

All I know is my results at FT are horrendous. I play roughly the exact same game on FT as i do on PS but on ft my br shrinks. On ps it grows.

Im through with FT. The other day I had too many bad beats on that site in the space of about two hours and I decided im done with it.

Now obviously I don't think its rigged, I just think there's a different type of player on FT that makes my game less successful. I can't put my finger on it, all I know is my results suffer greatly at FT.

You are mistaken - it's 1c per 15c at the micro level, so .066c per $1.00 at Full Tilt (max $2.00), and $0.05 for each $1.00 in Pot at Poker Stars (max $3.00). So, yes, Full Tilt is higher, but not by the numbers you are spewing. Research isn't difficult you know:

I have to say fulltiltpoker ..
I love the avatars and the 10cent tourney
I personally hate PokerStars becaus they are very slow with the cash withdraw..
When from FTP i make the withdraw and in 2 days i got the money in my hand ^_^
I dont judge the sites from BB or other
Just that the staff on FTP is much more helpfull and friendly than PS !!

I started playing at PS.

I went to FTP from bodog when I was "bonus whoring". I have never turned back to PS. I like the graphics plus rakeback.

Soon I will be bonus whoring again when I get the money. I think I will try Cake first then after I clear that try some more. In the end, after I clear bonusus at a few sites, I will play mainly at FT. Although I think I will play some at Bodog. I made alot of money there and I like the sports book.

full tilt has some great advantages, e.g. the fantastic mini-view functions for multi-tabling, which i actually miss at pokerstars...

Poker Stars.com is the largest online poker room in the world in terms of real money poker players. Not only are they the largest, the 2nd place competitor whiThe day that partypoker.com left the USA poker market, pokerstars.com became the largest online poker site in the world.
Poker Stars is averaging over 10,000 real money players. That is almost twice their nearest competitor (FullTiltPoker and partypoker at a virtual dead heat for 2nd place with just over 5,000 Real money players avg each.).
fulltiltpoker.com has now moved to be in a pure dead heat for the 2nd largest online poker room in the world. At the time of this review, PokerSiteScout shows that both FullTilt and Party have 5200 real money players on average. They have the second most number of USA poker players online, and represent a huge portion of online poker players online poker site.
Combined, FullTiltPoker and PokerStars make up the vast majority of USA online poker players.

In my words of the players that are donkey fish

PokerStars Players gets a 6.0 / 10 fish factor
FullTilt Players are on average 5.5 / 10 fish factor.

Really? i rekon the players on Fulltilt are slightly worse than the ones on Stars. Havent played a whole lot on stars though so that may not be totally correct.

I think both sites are good. Both have different ideas and structures. In a way if know about Pokerstars before Fulltilt i would be using Pokerstars.... Because the structure is hell of a lot better compared to Fulltilt! Yea the graphics are better in Fulltilt but we should be more worried about are cards!

I've already won almost as much money in one week on PS as I did in 4 months on FT.

It's wonderful when you take unfair bad beats out of the equation. I've dealt out two bad beats (I hit trip Q's when I went in preflop vs. KK and I called all in with pocket kings on the flop vs. a set of 7s, a K came in on the turn) and I've taken about 4, which is perfectly acceptable.

Dont think that you get worse beats on Fulltilt. Thinking like that is stupid.:p

Hey, it's fine if you think I am nuts or retarded or something for thinking FT deals out more flushes and straights than PS.

It's my experience that I am winning more here than there. Before the last couple of days set me back some, I had won 70% in one week here than 4 months there. It is what it is.
