I like the promotions at FT. They give out a lot of extras(take2, wsop Fantasy League, ect.). Also, their freerolls are easier to cash.

I like them both for different reasons...I love the final table on FT & you can change PS to a really neat table if you wish. The only thing I don't like so much about PS is the sheer number of people in each event!:)

Full Til is my preference, no question. Prefer the software and graphics. PS freerolls are ridiculously large.

I like them both for different reasons and play on both. I think the micro players are a bit better overall on Full Tilt.
You never know when a good promo is going to come along on either site so I keep money on both :)

I prefer pokerstars by A LOT! Full tilt is a lot more flashy, and for most is more asthetically pleasing but I actually prefer the simple more subtle look of PS. They have also semi-recently reworked there micro-stake point awarding system (theres no way thats the best way to say that lol). PS has bigger tourneys, bigger gaurauntees, more people, more games, more limits, JUST PLAIN MORE!!! I guess there loyalty program is supposed to be unmatched (I play micro's so therefore don't play at a high enough level for this to really effect me).

Anyone who picks a site based on the bad beats or the luck they have there isn't thinking rationally, its random. Just go by what software, tournaments, and player base you like more. For me that is PS, couldn't get into the look of full tilt, though I would like to play our freerolls there if I'm ever available for one.

this +100

Play FT mainly like others have said because of the look and feel. I really haven't gave other sites a chance though. I started playing at PokerRoom.com back in the day and really miss that.

I think the Fulltilt much better, despite playing in two sites I prefer fulltilt for the following reasons, it has a lot more freerolls, guaranteed tournaments are of 0.10 and also think the interface fulltilt much more friendly and simple.

Yeah that is a big point, there are freerolls on full tilt almost every half an hour if you include some CC freerolls :p. The guarantees on either site though i would say is pretty even, both sites can have huge guaranteed tournamnets simply because of the hgue number of players playing on either site (mainly pokerstars)

And yes, the interface on tilt is a lot better, and i have noticed recently that the support staff are a fair bit better than pokerstars and reply a fair bit quicker.

To all those who decide based on the look of the site... do you realize there are mods than can be applied to both sites to change the look of their tables?

Is there a way to make my pokerstar tables look the exact same as my full tilt tables?!

I've had some really bad beats on full tilt and on PS but not as many on PS. I like the software alot better on full tilt tho but the players on PS seem to be alot better. That's just my opinion.

I am fairly new to online poker. From researching sites, Full Tilt and pokerstars were the obvious 2 most popular sites out there.. But I leaned towards signing up with Full Tilt. I like the layout, aswell there is a ton of pros always playing that you can watch.

deep stack or not

I like full tilt better, PS MTT just take to long they are more deepstacked and seem to take forever in real money multi table tourneys. Freerolls obviously go to full tilt for beginners , I dont like PS freerolls for no real money just an entry to another tourney and then the chance at money, plus people seem friendlier and actually chat on full tilt!

I used to play a lot on both, now stick to FT.

For a lower stakes player (mostly play $1-$5 sngs) there is no comparison- the promotions FT run have made me more than playing there!

Pokerstars are ok, but no rakeback, points are pretty useless (enter a $2k with 50 points and there's over 2k players!) and promotions are almost non-existent/ badly thought out

In terms of software I think Carbon is the best (have recently started playing at PKR- it's awful!!)

overall FT because of the promotions is the best site by miles imho

Full Tilt for rakeback, promos, ironman.

PS for tourneys, multi-tabling, gold star freerolls

Twice

I think if someone offered a promotional bonus...and I had to choose ...$10.00 on FTP or $20.00 PS...I put $10.00 on FTP! I like it that much...the new look...reading the game-client...the special promos...the new cash-out options...everything about it. One man's opinion!:) :) :)

Stars is way better imo. The tournament structures are much better, with the starting stacks much deeper. Theres no real deep stack tournaments on Full Tilt.
I also think the software on Stars is better and easier to use on Stars but that may just be because I am more used to it.
Also Full Tilt make withdrawals like climbing Mount Everest to make, whilst on Stars all my withdrawals have been simple and fast.
