Forever is a long time, but for now they're gone, yeah. Sorry about that.

Hi all,

Just a quick mention that we put out a new update today which is a complete overhaul of our rewards program. Check out all the details here:

http://www.fulltilt.com/rewards

Let us know if you have any feedback, thanks!

Here is my feedback:

1) You decided to screw over old customers for some inexplicable reason. The Deal thing charges 20 FTP to play while Coin value is set at 10 FTP (1 USD in rake). I really feel appreciated for being with you from the restart (sarcasm).

2) Royal flush = A shot at The Deal Jackpot

WTF is "a shot"? 1 in 1000? 1 in a million? This is vague and doesn't inspire confidence at all.

3) "If you’ve played The Deal in the 12 hours before the jackpot’s hit, you’ll also get a piece of the cash; the remaining 50% is shared out equally among recent participants."

There needs to be info available:
1) when was the last time someone played
2) when the jackpot has hit

There had to be an advantage to being in Players Club as opposed to Edge. Yes, this means it's more "expensive" to use FTPs to play The Deal instead of Coins, but going forward if you're in Players Club you'll have plenty of chances to build up Coins. As far as the old FTPs you've built up, I'd still recommend using them for non-Deal uses (like tickets in the store, or FTP satellites) if you only want to get the most value out of them. We didn't devalue FTPs at all.

2) Royal flush = A shot at The Deal Jackpot

It's not meant to be a secret. If you look on the Deal Jackpot page:

http://www.fulltilt.com/rewards/players-club/the-deal/jackpot

You'll see this image:

in-game.jpg

And it's showing you the real chances. There are 8 pie slices, and you have a 1 in 8 chance of hitting the jackpot after you get a royal flush in The Deal.

3) "If you’ve played The Deal in the 12 hours before the jackpot’s hit, you’ll also get a piece of the cash; the remaining 50% is shared out equally among recent participants."

You mean you'd like to see the last time you played, right? That's a decent idea, and I'll bring it up with the web guys to see how much work it would be to show that on your personal promo page.

I'm also looking into what exactly we show after a jackpot is hit, but it might already be the case that we give this information.

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

1) I don't see why Edge players would even want to do the Deal (didn't have time to really go deep but opting into Edge then not using it seems pretty illogical). You can always put the higher price especially for them (+ make them lose Edge progress if they switch between options) if you want so it is irrelevant anyway.

This is clearly meant to penalize old customers for having paid rake in the past (!). We financed current Jackpot FFS.

I hate having to win (! like that is easy) FTP satellites to get value of out my FTP and don't want to use them in the store. I used them in 100 FTP weekly tournaments but I see now those are gone. Previously I also used them for Daily Edge tournaments when those were 25 FTP to enter.

So you need to make more of a return on your freeroll investment by ensuring that players with access to them have accumulated rake. I hope you considered that the majority of players playing freerolls do not have bankrolls to use for accumulating rake to gain access to the freerolls they need to accumulate a bankroll. sort of chicken and egg.

My biggest disappointment so far is that the windfall is an all in shootout. Why? Why why why why why? Ask any regular poker player and the will attest that poker is a game of skill not luck. How do you consider it a reward to remove our skill edge from the equation and turn poker into a raffle. I am game for all in but at least give us the option to fold. To prevent players from simply folding into the money you can place a limit on the number of folds. But why an all in shootout?!?! It doesn't cost you anything. Let us play for the 15K that is what we are here for, hello!

All in shootout is an abomination and has no place in poker.

What's with the coins? We have tickets we have FTPs why introduce yet another currency when all we really care for is the money?

Anyway, so lets take Players club for a spin and see how it goes, will let you know.

See we want to play poker and care very little about all the other frills like avatars and games of chance. Perhaps FT is losing touch with their target market.

Just a thought; since FullTilt added 100K for the first jackpot; would it be good to use our current FTPs to try to hit that jackpot now?

Just play once every 12 hours!

I don't mind the allin freerolls at all, but also change the 1k deals also into allins imo! I do agree we rather want to play ,but it also should be worth the time so if no flip, better to raise prizepool of them and run them less regular.

Hello Shyam Marcus,

My only opinion is that there should be low buy-in knockout tournaments and atleast 2$ transfer between pokerstars and Full Tilt account.

Regards and have a nice one,

A small question about the 50% sharing of the jackpot :
All players ,that have played in the last 12 hours prior hitting the jackpot, will get the same share of the 50% of the jackpot or it depends on the number of the coins played on the deal ?
For information the probability to get the jackpot is 1/ ((52*51*50*49*48) / 5!*4)*8 = 1/5197920 so the average jackpot hit is for this time 100 000 + (5197920 * 0.024) = 224750.04 $ , i bet this jackpot will be won soon lol

Nice calculations!

I try to play at least a coin every 12 hours. I'm curious too to know how much it would yield if someone (besides me of course) would hit the Jackpot.

It's split evenly among all players who have played in the last 12 hours, and it doesn't matter how many times you played in that time period.

I don't have a good answer for exactly how much each share will be worth when it gets hit. If I had to guess, I'd say more than $10 but less than $50. A lot will depend on the time of day it gets hit.

Do those Gold Coins for The Deal ever expire? I think I read something about it but I don't remember where.

Also since I'm in the Player Club, I don't get FTPs anymore. Will my old FTPs ever expire?

I found a little bug in the "Congratulations!" message that we get when we win in one of the Coin Flip Freerolls.

It always says "A total of 0 Coins has been credited to your account."

It should say "A total of 2 Coins has been credited to your account."

Although we do receive the 2 Coins in our accounts when we finish ITM. So the problem is only in the text.

So maybe you could correct this little bug in the next software update.

Thanks

MTT's on mobile would probably make games bigger and softer!

And the jackpot was hit last night, it was like 230K$, and received 15.97 share.
Thanks :)
