No bad experience I haven't had a bad experience in poker because poker is fun and part of the game is badbeats and you must understand this and keep playing and enjoying the game are the most important victories they will come soon as you learn to play, the main thing is to have patience and that's it

20+ year pokerstars player. No problems or huge issues really. The support isn't what it once was. Their chests are a bit wonky and don't always show and open right away. Guy's complain about the rake back. I'm not a grinder so couldn't care much about rake back....I'm a decent winner before rake and rewards. Any rewards and rake is just a cherry on top. What matters to me the most is Pokerstars is the site I can trust the most when it comes to security, bots, super users and cheaters in general.

Cheers!!!

At one point, yes. Might be harsh to call it a bad experience and it didn't put me off playing there in the end.

I had a long unused account there with a small amount of money in it. I went to log in after years and years of inactivity and I was informed my account had been suspended.

I couldn't understand why, but after some reading I thought it might have been something to do with a new T&C that I hadn't agreed to following the big online poker "Black Friday" as my original account was made well before 2011 and I didn't return to it until many years later.

Got in contact with customer services asking them if that was why my account was suspended and they said no, it was because my account had been logged into from another location other than my country.

The problem I had with that is that it was a copy/paste reply and there was a blank space where they should have put the country I apparently logged in from that they never filled in. I was also using a VPN on my PC for other reasons around then although not routinely so it could have been that. I'm completely unsure.

I raised that with them, asking where I supposedly logged in from and they didn't answer that question, instead asking me to send in some ID so they could reactivate the account.

At that time my life was a bit of a mess and I didn't actually have any official ID so I left it.

I since started a new account with them so no big deal to me in the end. Lost somewhere between $50-$150, I don't even know.

Not such a big deal and I play there now.

As I am german, I don't have a bad experience in playing there. I have a bad experience because I can't play any freerolls there anymore ;)

I have no beefs with PS itself but I only stayed on the platform for the CC freerolls. Once they confirmed that those days were over I unsubscribed and I am now looking for another poker site to call home. I don't care for 888, GG Poker, or party poker. I tried them all but there was always something I just really disliked. I like unibet but it has very limited freerolls and I haven't seen a CC game there in eons. Maybe WPT Global? Any thoughts?

I once lost about 35 flips on or near the bubble in a row.

Maybe that is why I prefer Cash Games.

With poker stars I didn't had any major problem, but I've had problems with other rooms. I already had my Party Poker account hacked a few years ago and I'm having a problem with 888poker right now about a promotion that they didn't paid me my prize and they asked to me send the ID of the hands, which I did, and still waiting for more than a month.

Or any other poker website?
Everyone who has ever played poker has either lost or won. Any loss can be considered a negative experience, accordingly, a win is a positive one. Maybe I didn't understand the essence of your question. What kind of negative experience are you asking about?

I don't think it's just PokerStars. It seems to be in most rooms and it isn't limited to poker. The play starts out going too well - sunrunning - and then all of a sudden that stops and things start going really badly. This isn't limited to poker.

It shows up in the casino games as well, whether it is blackjack, slots, roulette etc. There's a brief period of time where it's an amazing lucky streak and the payouts from the games are too good to be true, but all of a sudden it turns off and stays off until the next time that it is triggered again somehow. In the off mode it's just loss after loss.

Roulette especially is funny. You can try my method of playing it where you bet on 2/3 of the track (rows or columns) and just keep switching the bets to be on areas where the ball didn't land. Should be completely random but after a while the ball starts landing specifically in the spots that you didn't bet on. Once in a while is ok, because you just double or triple the bet the next time. But then the ball starts defying the odds and "picking" the parts of the track you don't bet on 10 times in a row.

Call it coincidence or variance, but I've seen enough to have my doubts.

Top poker room, to be sure: the most tournaments, there is a game at any time and no problems with payments. Yes, I am one of those who survived Black Friday and extremely unprofitable rakeback from 17 to 21 years. Recently, Stars has changed a lot for the better: grinding at low limits has become possible again, and there are noticeably fewer table select fans. Plus they periodically give some bonuses, albeit symbolic ones.

The only bad experience I had with pokerstars was on black Friday. Of course that was not there fault. I got my funds back quickly considering what had happened.

Would I go back? In a heart beat I would. I could not deposit fast enough if that opportunity was given to me.

The mere fact that they eliminated freerolls is already a terrible experience... I mean PS.

I tend to find that the support can be really slow on pokerstars, Which is no good if you want something done quickly.

HECK YES I HAVE
Support has stopped period.
I recently went to log on and a pop-up appeared saying that your
ID and Password don't match please try again.
I have been retrying now for over a week and I still can't get on.
The worse part is that it is impossible to contact support if you can't
get on the site.
More and more people are reporting this same problem.
No I have not been removed from Pokerstars and I am still showing as a
Club Manager and even signed up for several tournaments...
Very Disappointing after 20 years on the site.

What Can I Do??

I've only had 2 bad experiences playing at pokerstars.com. One was a little over 15 yrs ago when I made a deposit of $40 and $80 came out, which sucked because I only had $75 in the acct. I didn't notice this until an alert came to me on my device that my bank acct. had been overdrawn by $40. Oddly enough I had only the $40 in my PS's acct. So where did the other $40 go? I still don't know to this day because PS's did not take responsibility for this. So I went to my bank and had them retract my last deposit. PS's frowned on this and demanded their $40 back. I told them exactly where to go and cut ties for about 3 yrs.

The second bad experience was after I went back over there in January of 2011 when 3 months later on Friday, April 15th I came home from college and turned the pooter on, logged in and my (and everyone else's) online poker world had been shattered.

Pokerstars could have better freerolls. Their freeroll games are too difficult to win. The games are for tickets but have thousands of entries. So it’s in reality not possible to win a ticket. 888 have better freeroll games where you can cash more frequently.

I must've missed this.

Can you explain this system you have for Roulette?

Years ago I played some Roulette on one of the sites. I think it was williamhill. (but could've been something else... I played on over 40 different sites at one point). If you wagered $30, they'd give you an entry to a juicy weekly freeroll with a low number of entrants. Myself and a few other CC members would try to play it each week. We'd bet $14 on Red & $14 on Black, & $1 on 00 & $1 on 0
