At one point, yes. Might be harsh to call it a bad experience and it didn't put me off playing there in the end.
I had a long unused account there with a small amount of money in it. I went to log in after years and years of inactivity and I was informed my account had been suspended.
I couldn't understand why, but after some reading I thought it might have been something to do with a new T&C that I hadn't agreed to following the big
online poker "Black Friday" as my original account was made well before 2011 and I didn't return to it until many years later.
Got in contact with customer services asking them if that was why my account was suspended and they said no, it was because my account had been logged into from another location other than my country.
The problem I had with that is that it was a copy/paste reply and there was a blank space where they should have put the country I apparently logged in from that they never filled in. I was also using a VPN on my PC for other reasons around then although not routinely so it could have been that. I'm completely unsure.
I raised that with them, asking where I supposedly logged in from and they didn't answer that question, instead asking me to send in some ID so they could reactivate the account.
At that time my life was a bit of a mess and I didn't actually have any official ID so I left it.
I since started a new account with them so no big deal to me in the end. Lost somewhere between $50-$150, I don't even know.
Not such a big deal and I play there now.
