Note I gave to someone else earlier.

Hi can you play acr if you live in America?

Hello. Yes, you can play at Americas Cardroom if you are located in America. Let me know if you have any other concern so I can assist you with it.

Mostly true, but the ACR Rep left out a few gotchas. Laws vary from state to state. In Washington state it is a felony to play online poker and a felony just to have the software on your computer.

For the latest legislation and online poker regulations, visit the Play USA website. You can drill down to your own state there and see what is what.

Heed Shady's warning. That state is crazy serious with their hate for online poker.

FROM ACR:

We're open to players from 43 out of 50 states, so provided you don't live in Louisiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada or Washington State, you can sign up and play anytime- 24 hours day.
GL & God bless. :) :ciao:

Maybe a work around...

Thanks sir, i was confused on that now its clear

No. All US banks are prohibited from doing business with off-shore poker rooms. Just out of curiosity, is there a ban in India for online poker? And if not, why don't you get your own bank account.

If your sister in the USA is a member of ACR you could transfer funds to her on ACR via P2P and she can then arrange her on deposits/withdrawals within the rules.

Good luck & God bless.  :joyman: :deal: :icon_sant

Maybe?

Hello guys i want to ask you im in INDIANA and i would like to play on Ignition and ACR but im here only like a tourist.Do i need to have SSN or idn someting else to windraw my money becouse i don't have anything exept a bank acc form US bank which is made like a tourist in USA.Anyone know anything for this situation?
Thanks

By law, US Bank cannot do business with off-shore poker rooms. I don't think there is a loophole for foreign residents -- it is a bank operating within the USA. Your best bet is to go to US Bank and ask one of the bank managers about it.

Crypto Coin wallets solve a lot of headaches where online poker & location is concerned. Well worth becoming educated in the subject. Maybe check it out.

Good luck & God bless. :D  :call2: :turtle:

Obviously you play for money there, how do you play for money if it's banned?

Not sure about Shady...

My state is not banned or illegal. Federal law in the USA bans banks from dealing directly with offshore gambling sites. Does not ban players from playing. As I noted above, only 7 USA states ban offshore online poker.

Lot of other countries in the world seem to be screwing up access for their citizens now as well. Lot of screwed up hate for such a well liked game. Oxymoron. :D

FYI ACR = Americas Cardroom

Your graphic of the Reviews page did not come in quote. Hmmm.

Anyway, what you see on that page and what I see are two different things. Since I am in a state that has a ban on online poker, CC geo-targets my state and serves up the Social casinos. That is why the original poster may not be seeing ACR on the list.

Of course that is not what the Rep said earlier. The Rep made a blanket statement that ALL persons in the USA can play on ACR. This is true, however, for I am in one of those states you just listed.

Hi. I´d like to clarify some details in regards post #7060. As I said, you can play if you are from America (continent). If you are located in the USA, as they just explained, there are restrictions you will encounter if you live in Louisiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada or Washington State. If you are located in any other state out of those 7, you can play at Americas Cardroom from The United States without any further issue. Please let me know if you have any other question so I can assist you.

Rep tried to catch up & clean it up above. Can't leave out any details with newbies.

Figured as much. Just did not know for sure. Read your post about the different displays after I posted with the graphic. :D I have noticed attachments do not follow with the quotes either. We know what we are talking about. :D Most or some of the time.

ACR Rep. Thanks for being on here.

I have played a lot on ACR and enjoy many features there. I recently ran in to a surprise and would really like it to be taken care of. So I usually don't play satellites but thought I would give it a try. I played $1m 0/4 and placed. Then I clicked on the link to play $1m 1/4. I did not realize that I was auto registered whether or not I clicked the link. Then as the tournament was about to end I knew I was going to place so sat out and left my house for a while. When I came back I had been auto registered for 2/4 and of course did not place because I was not there. I called and emailed and even talked to a Supervisor. I could give you their name but not here. They said I needed to read the information more carefully.

So I did.

It says the prize is a seat to the higher tournament. I could not find where it says the specific time and date of the tournament or that you will be auto registered to the next available higher tournament.

I really don't like getting tricked as you can imagine.

Continuous On-Demand since they started...

These have been continuous on-demand tournies since they started. Many players have been knocked out just like you were because of the play for 24 hours straight nature of these 5 games. Many, many complaints/requests to simply use tickets.

As usual, ACR could care less about what the players see as a HUGE mistake. ACR has not even offered anything more than "TOO BAD" as any kind of explanation.

The only answer & comfort you will be given is "that is how it is". Sorry to hear that once again a player has to suffer because of a poorly designed game concept from ACR.

No one should play these who are not prepared to play 5 games/levels in as long as it takes one after the other.

GL & God bless. :(  :2in1: :y: :secruity:

You are not the only one. I just reported another one via PM to the ACR Rep.

Your game does not have any results at all right now. Its as if it does not exist, or you reported the wrong ID. Can you double check that ID?

https://www.americascardroom.eu/online-poker/tournaments/results/?tournamentId=9126111

The game I reported has the results as far as where they finished, but the money was not there (all $0 right now) for 36 players. I oversee this game and heard many complaints from the players who have not seen their money yet.

I am sure they will get it sorted soon. They always do, give them that!

Regarding missing prize monies

I misreported last time. It was not all 36 payouts, just 8.

Rewards

Rewards should be credited after the play - we don't need excuses that there are software problems - it is supposed to be embedded.

There is no problem with taking the entry fees.

Hi, I apologize for the late reply. Yesterday we were experiencing some issues with our software and that is why prizes were not being credited automatically as they should. However, the problem was solved after a while. Please let me know if you are still having the same issue so I can take care of it for you.

There is $1.5 Million guaranteed over 25 added tourneys, including a $420,000 Main Event.

This is the series that gives you a 10-minute “courtesy break” every day at 4:20pm ET. That means you can put whatever you want in your Halloween brownies this year!

Yeah I hate it. It's horrible to not warn people they are going to be auto registered in to 4 straight tournaments and be forced to play for 2 days straight. It's not surprising to see ACR make huge communication failures however.

I can explain that. Don't shove all in with aces pre-flop. Simple!
