Yesterday brought us the winner of the Big One for One Drop--there were a few lead changes with Sam Trickett and Antonio Esfandiari--both chip leaders at some point during the final table play, eventually succumbing to Daniel Negreanu. Daniel ended up finishing second in the event to another Daniel-Daniel Colman, a man of few words. The Little One for One Drop kicks off today. Some members of Team CardsChat are already entered into Day 1a. Check out the rail thread and cheer them on! The rest of the team will start tomorrow, in Day 1b, and those that may bust out today will reenter tomorrow as well. WSOP 2014 Main Event begins today
The 2014 Main event starts today. According to the official website, the winner is guaranteed $10,000,000. ESPN's TV coverage begins September 28th. Live final table coverage begins November 10th.

Day 39 finished up two of the last four "smaller" bracelet events before the Main Event starts today! Salman Jaddi won Event 60's $1500 NLHE, and Bryn Kenney took down Event 63's $1500 10 Game Mix 6 Handed. The Little One for One Drop will hopefully set a final table today, and the hopes are that the $10k PLO will get through it's final table today.
Day 1a for the Main Event starts today! This is the first year the WSOP has guaranteed the top finisher $10million, although that amount is likely to climb depending on how many players enter.
