Who knows when we (US players) will be paid.

This is a tweet from the VP of Player Relations of the PPA (TheEngineer here at CC):

DoJ has all info (and all the $$$) needed to repay FTP players. I expect we'll fill out the form & get our funds quickly shipped our way.

I don't know if he actually knows or if he's guessing but I guess we'll know soon enough.

Q: Can I transfer my FTP funds to an account on PokerStars?
A: We hope to have the functionality in place to allow inter-site transfers between Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars

So sick

Can't imagine the parties that guys like jungleman, Sheets, bax and god knows how many other high stakes players/backers are having tonight

Im stoked, and its great news for all of you with big balances owing. Best of luck in getting it back soon.

I am looking forward to a few daily dollar sattelites, with my $8 roll courtesy of CC freeroll shortly before black friday.

What was rather lucky for me is that I was trying to persuade FX to swap my pokerstars money for his full tilt, but he wasnt into it........

Pokerstars sounds like they are making out great in this deal as well.

I'm elated that this is finally an officially done deal and that it did not turn out to be the world's most infamous slowroll.

I'm not really sure whether I'm more excited about getting my BR back or the fact that Full Tilt software will be back online soon. Both are pretty exciting and the poker wheel in my soul has started churning again.

The only folks who will have trouble getting their money from the DOJ
are those folks who cannot verify their correct and legal name and address.

Those folks with duplicate accounts and phony ID's
will never see a dime of those ill gotten gains.

I expect the DOJ will want a Social Security Number for every check they cut.

IMHO

Anyone else wonder how the **** the DOJ can mandate how a non US company is to deal with the ROW?

Well, for starters, they've got the big stick of ever allowing them back in the US market or not.

Didn't you know? The US DOJ think they OWN the law, & the planet.

Don't mean to sound like I love the DOJ all that much but seriously... IF those settlement terms were dictated by the DOJ then ROW players ought to be at least partly thankful.

The incentive to pay ROW players is really on poker stars though, and the fact it is in the release doesn't mean the DOJ owns the rest of the world. It just means they came to the decision that ROW players be paid.

If Stars didn't pay back the ROW players, what would be the point of paying off the DOJ with $547 Million to buy FTP and the possibility of entering the US market at some unknown point in the future?
