Wow. I hate to get my hopes up all that much as this would be one of the BEST case scenarios we could possibly hope for.

Only thing I miss about FT is my bankroll I had there lol.

Now that PS has Zoom, I'm with you. Site rankings ~= quality of software; PS > FT > everyone else.

Oh, plus I miss the CC official and unofficial events on both PS and FT back when everyone could play.

FTP was the biggest competitor to Pokerstars, if they buy it, they will own the online poker...
FTP not givin' them too much competition imo :D

Don't wanna list the reasons for FTP > Stars software (cuz list would be long & become a huge derail) ;)

So as an American that hasnt played these sites in over a year, had no money on ft to begin with, why should I care? Does this all mean the doors for Americans can open again and I finally get another shot at the Sunday million?

Maybe you should care about the $330M still owed to poker players worldwide by FTP. This is bigger than you, if you can't see that just go away.

I glad that this is happening but it still doesn't make sense why PS would buy FT.

P.S. to PO - PS>FT anyday.

Why comment if you don't care, why state it? People do care obviously because their hard earned money is online..

Not sure what you stupid comment means nor do I care.

Are you serious?

I am an American too, who has never played for money on online poker.

But I want those players to be paid every penny back that they are owed.

It is complete bullshit.

World doesn't revolve around you man, have a little compassion for others.

From what I got out of his comment is basically him trying to say how does this improve the chances of FT or PS coming back to the US again. Take out the "why should I care" and it sounds a little better

Screw compassion for others, I have none. I wanted to know if there was a chance of these rooms being reopened for Americans. I do not care about any money any of you might have tied up in full tilt, it's not my problem

I would hardly call it trolling when I asked a legitimate question to begin with. I want to know if the whole situation with stars settling with the doj could mean Americans get to use the site again. I'm not interested in player payouts as I have no reason to be

Then this is all you had to say.

No need to sound like a D-Bag

I'll be curious to see if they re-open FT or just incorporate it into pokerstars. It will be nice to get some money back from FT. It will be even better if they re-open the site for Americans.
