Because poker is more or less forbidden in USA ,cuz of what happened with pokerstars and fulltilt poker few years ago.But let me ask you something :Why should a poker player or any other person should keep money in bank after the grate economic collapse and all evasion that banks of america did in the last few years...???!!!WHY??

Poker isn't forbidden, just online gambling of certain kinds is illegal. I play poker legally 20 minutes down the road at a casino.

I agree about it being because where Negreanu is playing since most poker sites like Pokerstars aren't available here in the USA under federal law. However U.S. players are still able to set up accounts overseas and I'm sure this is why BOA does monitor poker funds specifically. Although it is definitely absurd anyways cause as we all know now banks like BOA think they are above the law!

I would assume online poker being gray area doesnt help much. Like how medical and recreational marijuana businesses cant use banks due to federal law. I do realize he plays a lot of live though.
