There is no new news about 888 going countrywide, yet.

Not sure what you mean about the sizing problem?
Prior to 888poker limiting the number of cash tables you could play, I used to regularly multi-table 12-tables per 24in. monitor.

I do love to throw a bit of poop around though... hope they keep that.

I have a 17" laptop screen. With 888's slightly more oblong shape (compared to Stars for example), the default size will not comfortably fit four without significant overlap. Forget about the chat box, it's about a third the size of the table screen and external to it. If I even slightly downsize the tables, they downsize in font. My decrepit eyes really don't like that. Also, on my computer at least, 888 is everyone else's bitch. It will almost never pop to the fore in front of other sites when I have to act. BOL, SB, UniLag, and intertops all cause the sound on 888 to stop if they're open. Often, it will just freeze. Therefore, I'm hesitant to reduce the size of 888 because I will be less likely to see if there is a problem. Although I usually find out when I think "gee, haven't seen that 888 table for a while,... what's that grey square?....", so it really doesn't matter.

I am most afraid that even well working improvements will make it harder to run 888 on my Win7 dinosaur laptop.

That's great, 888 has by far the ugliest interface out of all the poker sites I've tried. I rarely play there because of it but would like to see how they improve it.

I am glad they are inproving there site, I have won my biggest
payout at the site. Like the chance of winning with AA there
than at pokerstars.

I hope they also change the design, it always looked kind of 80s-style to me. What I absolutely hate is all the pokerrooms, where the cashier opens in your browser. That is what I like about Pokerstars, not too fancy and the sounds are much better than in other pokerrooms.

The update of the client for some has happened, but the reviews are now going extremely negative, the statistics programs and other poker software have stopped raging. about problems, many are trying to download old versions of clients to avoid inconvenience. So let's hope that the next updates will fix bugs. The client has not been updated by everyone, how they determine who will update and and there is not clear yet, we will wait for good news))

It's time for a new update, as the recent version is KAPUTT! told me it's gonna update and open, but never opened, deleted everything, cookies, flash memory, all pacific folders, Prog won't install AGAIN!!! With all the money they earn they should be able to hire a programmer

I really enojoyed playing on 888, untill it got banned in Greece. Any news about getting a license to reoperate?

God forbid the calf eat the wolf. I often have problems with their poker client on startup. Sometimes an antivirus program blocks the launch.

The whole community is waiting for Americans to return to online poker platforms. It will be a wonderful thing for the health of online poker. Unfortunately, we players cannot do too much, only those who make the laws can make a decision in this direction. Things have been frozen for a few years now, but I still hope to see American friends at tables soon. :bath:
