Yeah, they said because of the super bowl it's taking longer to send checks.
That is one gigantic crock of sh*t...I have withdrawn many times there and it has always taken a long time...one time they even gave me a bad check and I had to pay an $85 fee to my bank for it bouncing...raised a bunch of ruckus and they credited my account for the bank fees...and to their credit after they sent me the bad check they overnighted me a new one that was good...

over 5 weeks and still "pending"
I requested my first cashout at Carbon and it was classified as "pending" on 1/9/2015. It is now over 5 weeks and still "pending." I have sent 2 emails asking for explanation but all I get is a boilerplate response.
Also, why the Carbon policy of only 1 cashout at a time to be "pending." Since my first request I won some more $ and when I requested another cashout, it said i would have to cancel the one that was pending. Since it had already been about 4 weeks, i did not want to start the process over. now i am just waiting..
Since this is my first experience with Carbon, I do not have much confidence that they are safeguarding players money and not using it for nefarious purposes.

Well, that gives me some hope - it's only been twenty days for me so far so I will apparently wait just a little longer before I start getting too concerned. Funny that this part of the process takes so long and it's hard to understand why.

oh, so you got your check in 42 days I read in a later post.
I think that is how lock started doing things. First it was 21 days, then 30 days, then 45 days, then 60 days, then 90 days, then 6 months, then a year.....lol....i think this is because they refused to cut a check until a certain amount of deposits came in which means the money they reserved for the player pool was actually a lot less than the amount of money players actually had in their accounts.
Maybe such a long time to withdraw funds is an ominous sign. 42 days sounds absolutely ridiculous. the average time it takes to send a piece of mail from NY to the other side of the world, China, is about 14 days......so WHY so long? Is the check coming from Mars or Venus? lol
perhaps an omen?

Glad to hear you got it OP - From my 2/1 request they have "prepared" to send it 2/27
They also charged me a fee to withdraw it - I assumed it would be free since my first check was requested 12/31 and this one 2/1. They said it was based off when the check is sent and not when it was requested.
I'm sure if I request one for 12/31 of this year and its sent January of next - They will charge another one saying it was requested in a year I've already had one

This is a story im hearing a lot anymore good people that support poker sites deposit money win money and then have problem getting a cash out . The next time you have a horrible bad beat add that to your trusted poker site resume.

Carbon Cashout
I requested a check on 2/10/15, received it on 3/9/15. The check was from a Canadian bank. I went in to the teller on 3/12/15 and deposited it. The teller didn't even give it a second glance, but I checked my balance on 3/13/15 and the money had been removed from my account with the notification FOREIGN ITEM ADJUST.
I have contacted my bank to ask if it was ever presented for payment before contacting Carbon. I will update this thread with my results, positive or negative.

I requested my check on 2/10, received it 3/12, I deposited it with a teller, who didn't say anything about it, today it has been bounced from my account. Not sure if it was bounced or its pending verification. Check was for $550, to the US.

Got first withdrawal check...now been over 5 weeks for second
I finally got my first withdrawal request check. It was for a small amount $250. It took just over 5 weeks. I immediately requested the rest of my balance and it has now been over 5 weeks for that one. The check was on a Canadian bank, but in US dollars. When i deposited at the bank, I made sure they were aware of this. The check has not been returned by the bank, but I was told that checks on foreign banks sometimes are returned unpaid, and sometimes can be a very long time after deposit.
I really have no faith that Carbon is not playing hard and loose with "players money" as I can think of no reasonable explanation for taking so long to pay withdrawals. Are they "lapping" and or operating some type of Ponzi?? ie, must get new money in to pay player withdrawal requests.???.
If they were a "pure" poker site there should be no problems, as their rake would only have to cover their operating expenses and they would have plenty of $ to cover player funds. But they also are a "casino" and it would be possible for them to be on the wrong side of some large bets over and above their statistical advantage which could cause some large losses.
While on the site I have asked several players if they get their money..they have said yes they have but it takes a long time.

ive depo. on Carbon went well heard just fine besides a lil wait for others tho.
Deposits aren't the issue. It's the payouts we are talking about.
