Sorry to hear you are having issues withdrawing. I have never had issues with withdrawals from Carbon in the past. For me, it has been nothing but smooth sailing... By the sounds of it, you deposited the check into an ATM. And you made 2 withdrawal requests and cancelled one... That could be where your troubles stemmed from. Although it just seems they had an issue with the processor, and had to cancel a batch of checks. It has happened in the past, and it's anything to be alarmed about IMO. I'm sure they are working diligently to get the next batch of checks out. FWIW, they send out checks in batches, for instance, they issue a bunch of checks, then send them via carrier. Kinda glad I saw this post, as I was going to make a withdrawal this week, maybe I'll wait a few days.

no i went to a person....drive thru in fact..check went thru 2 days later..they took the money out of the bank...carbon poker put a stop check on it they took the money out of my bank account..it was in there for 2 days and my bank charged me $30

I requested a cashout on May 3rd..june 3rd told me they sent check..i recieved it and cashed it.....1 week later i get a letter from my bank stating that the issueer put a stop payment on the check

Carbon Withdrawal

Anybody have problems with Withdrawals

I tried to withdraw funds and they asked for loads of bank details which I gave and they eventually told me everything ok, when I Tried to withdraw $200 they said withdraw mimimun is $500 although on their site it says $50

They then said open a skrill account which they charge 5% commision

This is so strange. I would tell the that their site says $50 and if thats not the case then they should change it because its misleading. I've never heard of an issue like this.

apparently when you go the the withdrawal link my only option is Bankwire and when you hover the mouse on bankwire it says min withdrawal is $500.

ALso visa card deposits ar eonly for US members, I have to open SKRILL account then get charged 5% for the privilege LOL

My experience:

Requested cashout of 2k on 7/8/14
Check arrived via FedEx 7/17/14
Deposited check on Saturday 7/19/14 at my bank, physically handed to a teller (my bank is open 10-2 on Saturdays)
Funds cleared 7/21/14 (yesterday) and are in my account

My bank's guidelines on foreign checks say that they clear in the next business day for amounts $2500 and under (probably a reason Carbon sets this $ limit for paper checks)

This was my first cashout ever from Carbon, but with these stories about stopped payments I am gonna have to keep an eye out to make sure the $ stays in there? Will post an update if I run into this issue

This is my Experience

back some 2 years ago i cashed out a few times
had to wait over 3 months for the cashout to go through and then another month or 2 for the check to come .
check came cashed and everything was good. only down side was i had to wait so long for each cashout and check to come

so now its 2014
and i did a cash out about a month ago
it took about 1-2 weeks to process and about 4days for the check to come i was stoked.
but i did get an email saying that to cash the check i couldnt depoist it into my bank account as i would have to go to a teller and have them cash it.

i live in california USA.

i go to cash my check and the bank teller says because its a foreign check it will take up to 6 weeks to process and it my bank will be taking a $100 fee to cash the check.

i finally go my money from the check
but im very frustrated
as i lost $100 from this that i gave to my bank for really no reason i feel
and it also took about 3 months for everything .

GL anyone who is trying to cashout.

anyone else have to pay a crazy amount from there bank for cashing a foreign check ?

Carbon cashout

Has anyone in the US cashed out from Carbon poker lately. I am just getting back into the online poker world and I do not want to deposit until I know I can cash out.

Of course you can cash out. It all depends on which method you use to do so. It takes roughly 3-5 weeks to receive a check from Carbon. If you're looking for speedy cashouts and better guarantees, then you should check out Bovada.

Don't be scared. I've cashed out with them multiple times without a problem, ever. It's easy for it seem like a lot of people are getting "screwed", but remember that they're taking things very personally and are steaming where ever they can.

Also, I received my funds within a week and cleared the same day each time. I don't know where this 1 month timeframe comes from, but I literally did this just 2 weeks ago.

I've just cashed out $250 from what started as a $25 deposit that I made a few weeks ago. They said they can send me a check. Does anybody remember which bank does their checks? Does anybody know if it comes from a foreign bank outside the U.S.?

Hello,

I have a small BR at Carbon Poker. Not enough to cash out and keep a decent bankroll. But, was wondering what experiences other in cardschat has had cashing out at Carbon.

Also, I have never made a deposit at at Carbon. And, was wondering same for deposits. All my BR came from freerolls and transfers made by friends.

All advise and information will be appreciated.

I'm not sure, but think that a transfer from a friend to your account constitutes a deposit. Look on your account and see if it says real money player. Not sure about this.

I have a small br at Carbon, but have never tried to withdraw. Also, try transferring some funds to a friend. I think if you could not make a withdrawal, you would not be able to transfer.

Really not sure about anything, but jus a thought.

They say that the 1st withdrawal is free, but they still hit me up for $7.50 for the $250 check. I can't draw out any more money until the pending status of my 1st withdrawal has been settled. Seems as though they just want to get what rake they can from what's left of my balance. I'm not playing there anymore. I can foresee a big losing streak coming up on that site.

I don't remember the exact bank but yes, It was from canada. I'm looking at the check stub now and it says [removed]?
I just recently cashed out $500 from carbon(check) and the whole process took about 3 weeks total(I opted to take the cheap way out and used regular postal courier) There are ways to receive your funds faster, but you will have to pay a bit more $. Thanks for that! I requested the withdrawal on the 29th, and Carbon said that the withdrawal was processed on the 7th. I think that it came here to Clearwater,FL today from FedEX. I wasn't around to accept the package, but I called and they said it would be here by tomorrow morning.

I understand. I'm saying that I've actually withdrawn and actually had it in a week. I thought we were talking about literal processing times as opposed to expected processing times. I never *expected* it in a week to 10 days, but I always got it in a week to 10 days and had just done so a couple weeks before I wrote that.

Had to sign for it, came from Canada
