Getting really annoying, requested a check on August 12th and still nothing. E-mailed multiple times asking for Bitcoin, despite them giving it to other players, and no dice. I still have another max check to go! Not playing there outside BSing in hypers occasionally since September.

I hope you get it before Christmas... & I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm guessing you'll get it nearing the end of Nov.
Please keep us posted when you get it.

Been waiting since September 12th myself, max check. My account was under review for a month for Bitcoin then it went under or so it seems, I guess WPN dropped Bitcoins for a time too, the price went out of control both ways lately, very volatile.

Four Months to get paid from Carbon

The old saying goes "better late than never" would pertain to Carbon Poker. I applied for a withdrawal June 20th and finally received a check over four months later.

Ouch, I was gonna give Carbon Poker a shot because they have those 10 player Double or Nothing SitnGo's (which I love) and they gave me a free 5$ when I signed up but reading this thread made me decide to just blow the free 5$ and never play on there again. Just want to add one thing, Carbon Poker has the worst deposit/withdrawal options I have ever seen. The deposit options offered to me are Credit Cards (which don't work in canada), Cash Transfer (WU) and Bitcoin. The only withdrawal option is a check that takes months to arrive.

Had a check processed and shipped from 9/27, it will probably be about 2 weeks before I see the actual check since they deliver it with u.s.p.s.

Carbon WD wait time only 6 weeks!

Looks like Carbon is still paying & along roughly the same time line (3-to- 4mos.)

I still have a bit left on there & have been pondering over what to do with it.

meh.. I think I'll just withdrawal my balance from there (leave $22 'just in case' I get a weird urge to play a Carbon tourney).
Might as well start the waiting process now while I'll feel there's still hope.

Withdrawal times weren't always terrible since B.F. for ROW players.

And so I did. Processed in just over 6wks.! (46 days). Much faster than I was even hoping for.

Today my withdrawal was processed and check is on its way!!! ... just in time for Christmas :)

Am I the only one who finds it sad that Merge has us excited about getting back down to 2-3 month waits? Haha

No, most all of us would love for Merge to get it together. IMO, they have the best user experience (client software) in the biz, again IMO, even better than Stars.

And if they could figure out the money movement thing, like withdrawals consistently under 2 weeks, we might flock back to them.

In comparison, someone posted about a WPN withdrawal taking less that 2 days, and only considered that 'pretty good'.

I requested a payout from Carbon Poker on Nov.11 sat as pending for about 3 weeks then I recieved an en email from carbon saying tnat i had a message from them and to log onto my acct. I logged in went to my acct and there was message saying that there is a delay in processing my check, i can wait for processing or us person to person transfer. I was weary about person to perdon transfer so i waited a few days then i contacted support and inquired about it. I was told that if i chose person to person i would recieve info in about a week as how to pick up my money from western union. A day latter i recieved email with info and went and picked up my withdraw in cash no fees thst was on dec 13. 32 daysbfrom initial request to cashnin hand

Good to see Merge getting things dramatically better.

Hopefully people come back to easily the best software in the domestic US market and very nice GTDs schedule tourneys.

As for cashgames, they're nitty and bad in the micros.

For those that thought/called me a shill, explain me saying that.

Cash games on Bovada are 30x as juicy as any other site in the US market.

Glad to see things starting to turn around, as far as withdrawals go. I really like Carbon's software compared to the rest of the options I have. And the game selection is/was decent. Other than then reducing the GTD prizepools, I have no complaints. It's been a while since my last cashout at Carbon but it took about a month. Hope they can stay on top of these times, if not improve upon them!

The Carbon software is great. The thing that should scare you, is that they have a totally unreliable withdrawal process. And it has been unreliable for years, not months.

If you play mostly for enjoyment or entertainment and really don't find yourself in a dire financial situation where you will need a big money win ASAP, then Carbon will fit that bill.

I just don't want to play on any site that won't cash you out either way lol. I do generally play recreationally but say i top a big tourney and start building a huge bankroll..like up in the decent 4 digits id like to atleast be able to grab some of my cash.

You will probably love the software, and loath the withdrawal process. Eventually you will get your money, but it will not come anywhere near as fast as you like, so for instance you can't plan on throwing a party with the winnings next week.

So far we haven't seen a total default by Carbon, but many (most) have been in the position of thinking they were gonna be the person who gets the first default. It is a very uncomfortable feeling. Really spoils the greater OLP experience.

But, once again, I would rather stress the very great software.

And FWIW, most of the more serious players here have long abandoned Carbon for the sole reason that the withdrawal process is so discouraging. We will return en mass'e if it ever gets fixed. But you know, even that process would take a few months. If all of a sudden, Carbon was paying within 2 weeks (hey! I can dream), many would still wait a while to verify that new (imagined) reliability.

Now I'm finding stuff saying their payouts have improved this past month or so!!?? So confused.

Well, that guy is certainly thrilled. And it reads like Carbon has got something going.

You can be our guinea pig! Start a thread telling us how you deposit, what you experienced, whether or not you thought the process smooth. Then win big and do a withdrawal, with the same scrutiny.:D

And thanks for that link!

On December 30, I received the following message from Carbon Poker:

From: Withdrawals Dept.
Date:
Dec. 30 at 03:49PM EST
Subject: Special accommodation for your withdrawal
Message: Dear XX,

On September 10th, 2015 you were notified about a situation we faced with our Skrill processing solution, which forced us to cancel your pending withdrawal and remove it as an available withdrawal option. As an alternative, we offered you other methods to initiate a new withdrawal but up until today we have yet to receive a request from you.

However, for a limited time, we can process up to $10,000.00 to your registered Skrill account XX. Be advised that you will not be able to see Skrill as a method in the Cashier section; therefore we would have to request those funds manually on our end. If you agree to this offer, simply contact us confirming your Skrill account is still active and we will proceed accordingly.

Regards,
The Withdrawals Department

The following day, December 31st, I received my skrill withdrawal for 88.40$. I had 93,40$ minus the 5$ fee.
