Definitely not up online. I've mainly played freerolls and have won some decent ones, but always end up losing my bankroll and having to start all over again.

I am not a great player, I just play freerolls on WPN, so yes, I am ahead.

Empirically, I am ahead. Not by much. Hadn't played since black friday and I took a massive nose dive when I came back to poker and had to switch from limit to no-limit. For having pretty the same rules, they are incredibly different games. Also, before I was primary a 7-stud player, but that is also pretty dead.

If you look at from an economic perspective, if I would have made 10 times as much money working a few more hours at pretty much an job, than my win rate (not counting the nosedive) has provided. So even with the rosiest perspective I am taking an economic loss from playing. I guess if I magically become a success professional, then as training experience/education, then this might be a seen as profitable investment. We'll see.

I am way ahead of what I have put in . May be 50x minimum in online poker.. I usually have always start with small br and have a target , once I hit that I withdraw and start all over again.. that's how I have been playing and luckily it worked for me so far

As I am mostly free-rolling, I have to say that I am ahead in general. As for winning poker network, I signed up in November with ACR, deposited $50 and at this point I am $250 plus. You might call that consistent.

I don't mean to intrude, but I am starting to think Winning Poker Network is complete b****sh***.
I feel the same way most of the time. Posted a couple of weeks ago in the bad beats section something similar to what you have said here. I am a winning player live, no where near to the extent you are, living in Georgia I don't have the chances to play too too often other than some home games.

At specificly Winning poker network i am a +-0 guy xD i only played freerolls on the website, and i won a few bucks during the last year, however i managed to loose all earnings aswell so im at exactly +-0 on that netowrk!
Mine looks the exact same.

Wow was just checking my stats and somehow my worst position is on the button. I'd actually be ahead a bit if you take out those losses.
Seems fixable you'd think.

Very much so. Wish I had more time to play. But I make way more money in more controllable ways. But I grew up on poker. It is part of me. Reminds me of my father...who played very well as a b-17 navigator in WW2...taught me well

For now, I'm making some profit. Lost a sunday million game but was a ticket, anyway my sharkscope is very negative. I would like to stay in the $1 45 Players in pokerstars, so I can profit even more, but I withdraw some money so I building all over my bankroll

Whether I am ahead or not with online depends on the time frame. I started playing quite a few years ago and for the first couple years I would say I was not ahead. I then quit online, real money, for a few years and actually started playing Live at local casinos, where I did quite well...best night was a $12900 win...a lot of smaller loss nights. I then returned to online playing, much smaller wagers, and have done okay, I am up slightly but not anywhere near the live winnings. In my opinion the biggest difficulty to online winning, consistently, is the large number of players, the large number of hands dealt and hence the unrealistic results as far as the odds go. A player is facing the odds of thousands of hands dealt per hour compared to 40 or 50 per hour at a live table...just a thought...:):):)

Change platform

I am a beginner player here in Brazil, and I believe that this company is not available to Brazilians, I cannot help you. But why don't you change platforms (888, Full Tilt ..)?

Winning Yes - Hard Yes

Just checked my sharkscope - and it seems I'm a losing player per the statistics, down about 150 bucks.

I don't know about those numbers.

Here is the important information sharkscope doesn't provide.

I have played on ACR from the first week I started playing poker - roughly 1.5 years ago.
I deposited a grand total of $25 dollars on ACR/WPN about 8 months ago.

I have withdrawn three times from ACR/WPN for a total of 500 bucks.

So regardless of what the stats on sharkscope say I'm up pretty good.

I only play MTTs - not cash.

I have won $0.10, $1, $10, $22 tournament ticket but as I reach $100 mark, even my pocket Aces starts loosing. You need to take time of to win in online poker.
They only win roughly 70% of the time.
Just yesterday my AA got beat by AA - runner runner runner flush. :) at least it wasn't to duces or JJs.

I am in the same boat 6k down online but a winning player in live poker. I wish Americans could play on the big sites. Maybe someday.
Not to be contrary but this seems quite like an excuse for not winning on one poker site vs another.

Do you expect to do better on PS because there are more bad players on that site? If your complaint is - runner runner on ACR - it happens everywhere, yes even live.
If there are more bad players on PS - there are also more high caliber players to contend with. Sharks feed where the fishes are at.

It is known - Bovada/ignition is rife with collusion due to it's anonymous "feature" stay far away, however ACR/WPN, routinely hunts down the botters and cheaters.
Take a look at poker pastors video review of the bot sites that rate each poker client to see which is best/worst for the bots they sell.

ACR is a reputable option that pays out EVERYONE and they provide a service to us US players who are not allowed to play on PS and other sites due to BS government legislation. I personally am grateful ACR exists.

I am a beginner player here in Brazil, and I believe that this company is not available to Brazilians, I cannot help you. But why don't you change platforms (888, Full Tilt ..)?
I play with players from Brazil every day on ACR/WPN. It might be that you need to register through one of their two other mirror clients - Blackchip Poker or True Poker.

I can’t win on wpn either especially when you factor in rake, the prevalence of bots and rampant, rapidly evolving collusion.
Could you point to an article/report regarding the prevalence of bots and rampant evolving collusion you reference.
If these exist in the games you play - it is most certainly on the cash tables.
Playing tourneys - I have not been aware of any bots/collusion - however I have received roughly 10 bucks from ACR in repayment for events I participated in and later WPN caught bots/cheater(s), banned them and repaid the players who were effected.
Seems they are diligently working on these problems.
