In this quarantine my bankroll increased considerably.

Hey folks,

before the lockdown I had really no time to enjoy poker. I used to play very seldom. But as my favorite poker provider gave some financial motivations during the lockdown to its users, I could build up a nice bankroll.

Bankroll

I'd have to say I not only started playing more but I also joined three other online poker sites and CardChats, all of which helped to improve my bankroll considerably. All 4 US sites are well in the black.

Furthermore, with all the extra time on my hands, I started writing a book on playing micro SnGs. Don't know if it'll ever get published, but I think it's turning out to be an enjoyable read. I justified writing the book with of my 35 years experience and having run up my bankroll on ignition Casino from a starting stake of $25 to $800 all in under two years, and I'm a conservative player. A more aggressive player could probably have done it in 6 months. Besides, it gave me something to keep my mind active, as opposed to my spouse who pretty much became a couch potato, watching old re-runs on TV, during the lockdown.

The truth affected in many aspects because at least every time there was a friendly game between those of my club I managed to win some money for the weekend but nowadays you can only wait

Since Covid19 and playing more to pass the time of day my bankroll has increased by playing at more sit & go's, cash tables and of course CC freerolls ")))

Thus far up about $70 -- for me a nice cushion to play on.

I dont know if quarantine actually helped my playing, I think I was playing too much, I was about break-even at that point.

It has increased since I started playing CC freerolls in the quarantine.

I think i've played way too much my bank roll has decreased by $65 but i'm on the rebound now i really don't think it had anything to do with the lock down just bad cards and maybe some bad calls it's poker

My budget has become much less. I have a feeling that in the Corona era many lucky seekers started playing at pokerstars. This also plays and loses hands that you would not lose with serious players. Those fortune seekers often go all-in with low cards and also often win.

The only thing that increased in the quarantine was my weight ..... I would like to say the same about my bankroll .... but no !!

Increased very significantly ! I was able to bink one of the bigger daily micros on ignition during the peak lockdown times. Almost 2300 field so was a very nice increase

Since i'm staying in home, my bankroll is increasing, and i'm investing more on online poker

I started from scratch just before lockdown after an argument with my girlfriend because she thought I was spending too much money on poker (I wasn't, I was break even, but I'm not a fan of keeping money on poker sites, so there was normally a transaction a week (in and out)).
Starting from $0.00 there's really only one way to go and thanks to some nice cashes in the Cardschat free rolls, I now have a bankroll of just under $50.00 which I'm keeping on Pokerstars to prove to her that we're not losing money.

Thanks. Yes, a few deep runs in the CC freerolls can certainly give the bankroll and nice boost. Like you, I intend to start playing micro SnG's although my style prefers a slower game than the hyper-turbos. Once I'm up to $200.00 I will start playing MTT's which I believe is my strongest game, but variance is a bitch when you only have a small bankroll to play with.

Yeah, the hypers were mostly due to my lack of time to play. I now pretty much exclusively play MTTs (late reg mostly).

I've been up and down since April. I was up to $1,600 then back down to about $1,300. I'm now just above $1,600 and pushing into new highs.

If you truly believe MTTs are your best game, I'd start playing them now, just play smaller fields.
