How often do you play?

How often and where do you play poker online. At work? Maybe at home or at the club

Pre-covid I played online about 5 days a week. With salary reductions and lay-offs at my "day-job" I don't have time to play poker because I"m working WAY TOO many hours to make sure I'm not the next to get walking papers.

lately i have been playing little because i got discouraged from poker! I don't know if I'm very unlucky or the game is really bad.

On a fairly regular basis. I work in DevOps, from home. So on my left is my work rig and my right is my home rig. Often I'll have a game up running while I work. I know it's not the best practice as I'm no doubt missing things happening on the table. On the other hand it's easy for me to play a more ABC style because I'm barely involved in any hands as it's easier for me to snap-fold stuff due to my range being a lot tighter.

I used to play (online) every day, different types of games, but I learned that I play better when I choose more "deliberate" playing days. So, I will play Tournament sessions or cash sessions separately. On weekends Ill take at least 30 minutes break between sessions. During the weekdays, if I have 2-3 hours to spare, a daily tourney, if its cash, at least one hour, and if less than two hours - SNG. I also include at least one day off from Poker (not even a study), and mandatory one-two day study days if I did really bad (loose calls, to much chasing) just to get myself back on the focus. Where before I play just to play with hopes Ill do good, now, each session has a specific goal(s) that I try to achieve. SO, to summarize, I play less then I started, but my plays are more deliberate. Quality over Quantity.

I used to play every day mainly freerolls or micro tournaments but since I have gone back to work and I don't have much time so I play a couple of hours at night because tiredness overcomes me and I get sleepy on the days that I didn't work I played from 4 to 10 hours ..
