Do you play better live or online?

Great question! I might be better online. I love playing live but I don't get the opportunity to play in casino's often so I am more comfortable and less nervous online and I think I have better results online. I may not have played enough live to have a fair comparison though.

I do better live. There is alot more information, and generally players are pretty bad at low stakes.

live because i enjoy the banter but also because when i play online i multi-table and it's harder to keep track of what other players are doing

Hello, although in both cases we talk about the same game, at least in my experience the differences between playing live and online are huge, I like playing live more and I think I have better results, but for one reason it is banking is more like playing online most of the time, since for my bank the buy-in of the casino in my city is very high, but I still insist that although we talk about poker in both cases, it is completely different Option with the other one!

the same thing happens to me online very rarely I win but live game development better not if something has to do with the adrenaline of playing live or more comfort

After playing online for 15+ years, I no longer have the patience to play live. Live dealing is too slow for me. Also I'm middle aged woman, and I'm not really comfortable sitting around a table with a bunch of 20-somethings dressed in hoodies. lol

Live, I read people better, recognize patterns, player types! Better when a face is attached, body language, attitude...

Nothing comes close to the thrill of playing live poker. Being around people, real chips and the psychology (table talk) which is important and maybe crucial sometimes. You can see the way a man holds his eyes and you can figure out whether he's either got the nuts or a hand full of nothing.

Online however, I'm pretty below average as everything that I mentioned above isn't there, I play good in tourneys and I cash in almost every day but online cash games, I find them a struggle. just recently (yesterday) I lost 200 bucks playing online cash games.

I'm not sure if I really play "better" live. I feel like I play the same both live and online. I seem to run better live i.e. my premium hands hold up at a much higher %. Also my bluffs seem to get through more. I'm not sure if it's due to variance being much higher online or the fields live being softer.

I play live better forsure...i think anyone does even if they are nervous at first they will get over it.

Way better live almost always profit (not a lot) or break even. Way less surprises or fools calling with nothing to hit runner.

good question. i think live is better for me but my gambling side like online because i can play many tables, which isnt that great either, lol
