Having debuted on a live table and certainly generating the most experience thus far; no doubt the performance is more notable in a live atmosphere.
However I will never disregard the opportunity in player development that online play will always allow. There are obvious
tells you just won’t receive from opponents in playing online yet one can not deny that from the core both complement each other adequately to where it’s most definitely worthwhile to pursue both forms of play regardless what your strong suit is.
It’s a tremendous blessing overall that my best friend has achieved Professional status in this game, having cashed in 14 consecutive
wsop events ranking 3rd last year on the money list and still takes the time to ensure proper development in my game as well. One of the main points reiterated with great emphasis, over our first several conversations, was the importance on seeing as many hands as possible with new strategy in place. And playing online will no question allow for that.
But in my book nothing comes close to the atmosphere and energy that a live table generates.
