Live poker will be back in action. It's just going to be how long from now. My guess it will be back to normal in a year from now. People will be playing in casinos again. I hope that it is gone only a year.

I believe many relax and uplift some or many rstrictions regarding the so called '' social distancing'' or isolation measures . Ofcouse , somewhere else I read it might take one year or more to come back in the former status of things , very concerning , don't know what tio believe . Also , if things go worse , especially in the Automn/Winter , measures might come back , even stricter for protection by this virus .

So , I don't know , but I hope this crisis ends soon , so as all businesses to start again , including casinos and live poker rooms , so as poker and casino activity to go back to the way it was , befoire this crisis . i don't like thinking that things have changed , that live poker or all events or our life won't be the same again , I want to think these are exaggerations :)

No, this will not end live poker, it will modify it until things pick back up. I do hope that it serves as a catalyst for legalizing online poker in the USA.

Of course not, I don't understand why people are still afraid of this virus. In six months everything will be normal

temporary virus and for poker to come to an end it will have to go through a cataclysm but then it will resurface among the ashes because it is the best player in the world

I wouldn't say so. When it comes to poker unless it's regulated poker players will play.

Well, you can’t be so pessimistic. Definitely everything will be fine. But before what? there was no flu or herpes. And all blow your nose touched your face and then touched the card chips. It's just now there is a training on controlling humanity, and you succumb to this panic. Be prudent friends. Yes, you need to be a little more careful, wash your hands more often, shun sneezing and coughing people. But these are the elementary rules of personal hygiene that we have been taught since childhood ... Yes, maybe the world and poker will not be the same as before, but everything will work out.

No way. Sooner or later this pandemic will end. Life will flow in its own way. Everything will work out in the world. And live poker will resume. Certain sanitary measures will simply be followed. And the organizers will think through everything to the smallest detail

I don't think that's the case, the pandemic is going to end at some point and it's going to be quite normal again. We will have to change some habits maybe, but life will probably go on as usual and poker like any sport can be played smoothly

no, cardrooms and casinos will still be full of germs and other things, but with proper handwashing and proper measures, everyone will build immunity to it, at some time.

peace

But why. You can play in masks and gloves. In general, we will have to live with this virus in the future. Just as we live with the flu.

Everything will eventually go back to normal. Here in germany, things are pretty casual, the only thing standing out is all restaurants are take out only if you're inside a store you need a mask on, and the football matches are being played with doors closed.

It is not the first pandemic the world has seen, and won't be the last. Indeed has been the most global, but we'll figure it out.

In fact, I'm sure there's live poker being played with masks somewhere already.

covid

The world has experienced larger-scale epidemics, which no one remembers after a while. Of course, covid won't be forgotten either this year or next year, but I am sure in a couple of years everything will be as before.

Is Covid-19 the end of live Poker as we have known it ??

I have some casinos and gaming clubs closed in my country, but I think as soon as we defeat the virus, everything will come back

I don’t play much live. I am definitely going to start though when the casinos reopen. It would never be the end of it, usually the older end only play live and don’t play online. Not only there, live play always have massive amount of fish, specially in cash games! Limping every hand, way too passive. It’s the beauty of live not only that there is the social aspect of it. So I don’t think it will kill live poker off. Only till this is all over

I presume they will have to somehow make chips and cards with some kind of anti-bacterial backing on them or make everyone wear gloves. Which would make it somewhat card to look at the cards..

The reported deaths yeah add in the unreported worldwide deaths and you will find it is nothing like the flu..

you will have to also subtract all the deaths of people who died of cancer, tbi, stroke, etc. that were labeled corona. according to the cdc this is done on a daily basis.
