Sitting around 130k with about 1 1/2 levels of play left till dinner break. Just busted someone with 99.

Had to fold ak pre to an insane 3bet jam of like 55k when blinds were 600/1200. I don't know why but I tried to respect him and really thought hes only doing that with kk+(i know...i know ugh....) he shows kjs and my ak wouldve railed him and the shorstack. All goood...still hanging and playing positive. My phone battery is low, so probably cant update again until later

Ugh played for 13 hours and busted without making the $ or even a bag. Gave it my best but i just couldn't get any traction after i lost about half my stack a few levels back.

I had a blast this trip and really hope the best for the rest of team CC still in. Cheers all and tks for the rails, best wishes and gls.

That stinks, Stephen. I'm glad you had a great time though, and I would imagine the experience you gain playing in a tournament like this is immeasurable as well.

I am home now, but this experience was incredible. Not only was it fun meeting Debi and the other CCers that I've faced at the freeroll tables, but the excitement level of a WSOP event is 100 times ratcheted up from the average daily tourney at local casinos or the dailies in Vegas. Making the cash, made the whole thing that much more fun. I look forward to doing it again next year...to those of you who are thinking about it, but haven't been yet...ya gotta go for it!

Thank you Tammy. Was unable to get on while in Vegas and did not see this until now. It was an honer being part of the team. I really hope to have the opportunity to do this again.

What an AMAZING experience. Thank you SO much CardsChat for the privilege of representing the CardsChat community in The Colossus.

Lessons learned...

• important to build a big stack (stay above 80 bb). I need to learn to do this better.
• more important to learn to play 40bb stack or less well. I read this page https://www.cardschat.com/mtt-short-stack.php over and over again!

...finally, hero needs a little "run good" tough to go deep in these things.

I can't wait until WSOP 2020!

I had a wonderful time, met some great people and I now have the family bragging rights...my nephew won a free trip to WPT Warsaw a few years ago on pokerstars...he lasted an hour. I would like to echo the other participants in the Cardschat team event, and thank Debi, Tammy and all the others who made this event possible. Hope to see y'all next year.

Yeah I hear ya. I do know though that it can be hectic, everyone on their own schedules and such so it can be hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time. Especially if there are different starting flights.
