A few days ago I had $ 15 in poker stars. I started from 6max Zoom 0.01 / 0.02. I switched to 9max Zoom 0.01 / 0.02. Then I went back to 6max Zoom 0.01 / 0.02....all day long . Until I made the bankroll 0$. I did not stop again. Once again !!!:eek::pcguru:

The thoughts like, for example, if you win a 5$ tournament, you're automatically "too good" for them and move higher. Got really good cash in 11$ - feel like you're too good again and move like to 55$ :D Of course, in the end the predictable result is - no more cashes and no more money.

It has happened to me way more times that I would like to admit :) That has nothing in common with taking shots to the higher limits, it's just playing 215$ tournament with 250$ in the cashier, because if you were successful in 1-2 tournaments with lower buy-ins, then there is no point anymore in wasting your time playing them. Like it's time to go higher and get what you deserve :D:D:D Naturally, it's accompanied with a total noob play, like I didn't even have an idea about different stages in the tournament or stack sizes

Mine: I had 105$ and tried a 100$ spin and go. The multiplier was 4 and heads up lost with equal stacks allin my pocket tens lost to k7 two sevens on board... However playing a 100$ spin is really stupid when you have only 105. Whats yours?

Lol I have done many stupid things with my bankroll. Getting bored and sitting with the entire roll at a ring game table. Deciding to buy into a tournament that was just about as much as my entire bankroll. Played about 100 SNG's worth $1 each when I had about $100 and played them all about the same time. Oh and i've also some of these more than once. It's a very dumb thing to do but it didn't stop me from doing it! Emotion can be a very tricky obstacle!

In my younger days, before I knew what bankroll management was, I maxed out a credit card trying to satellite into a WPT event at Foxwoods. Should have just bought in for 10k. I had to take a bailout from my parents, and it took me about eight years to pay them off, during which I stopped playing for big bucks. Just couldn't handle the swings.

Spend some on someone less fortunate than you.

Find someone truly homeless (for no fault of their own), or a battered woman ... then buy them some food and/or clothes and shed a little happiness to some unfortunate soul. If you can afford to throw away that much money that easily you must not need it to look after your own affairs.

The stupidest thing I have done with my bank in poker was to get from 0 to 254 USD and after a bad spell in cash hands I lost 50 usd, and I got into two heads up. I had the misfortune to lose KK vs JJ in one of the sit and go and lose everything in just one day. I could not believe it and I still do not understand how I could do that hahaha

I havent done anything too crazy. But the only thing I can think of is once I opened 4 tables at once and blew off like 15 buyins. I don't know why I thought I could handle that many tables, I'm basically barely good enough to win at 1

My most stupid thing was preferring 2x0.25$ than one 0.50$ SNG 9 turbo. Recently you can see on pokerstars $100, $200, $300 freerolls with perfect opportunity to grow normal bankroll on micro limits. I got 0.30$ and then momentually use for spin n go buy-in.
This stupid thing is not obviously but I made lottery from poker is was wrong way.

Thats easy will never forget how foolish I was 12/13 years back

I had been playing live poker Tournaments for a few years before online poker went big, I was a below average player

around the year 2003 online poker started to gain momentum, and I had a few years head start on the majority of players online, I was a pocket money player and all my pocket money went on satellites to try for a Sunday night seat in a the big Sunday night game and try my luck at the big time, the seats were $200 cannot remember if the uk played in $ then? I think they were,

I generally did well in satellites and remember winning a seat for the Sunday night Ladbrokes game, now the most money I had won online was probably @ $500 in a torny

Well this night I got lucky and got 4th place in ladbrokes Sunday nighter paying $7500 this give me a great start for my poker online account, I remember I got lucky a couple of times and still after this win I still believed I was a below average tournament player, I played a few more games and got no where, so made a decision to turn to cash tables with my poker bank.

Those days the lower stakes up to $1/2 was a sit and wait for the hands game, in other words the TAG,s cleaned up, I started off losing on ladbrokes cash games, and put my bank of around 6k into betfair poker and studied the TAGs I started to watch this one player never forget his name he was called Paymybills a Betfair winner up to the $1/2 game, he played 4 tables with $200 on each, and I could not believe the way he bet, very strong and although he hardly played many hands he still got paid, so I copied him, and it worked, with in 1 year my 6k was up to 22k this was so easy especially with Moneymaker winning the wsop bringing loads of newb'ys into the arena seeming happy to give their hard earned away without a fight

I lived the good times new cars /holidays to the US/ Europe for 2/3 years, and also had a well paid job at the time, and my online poker bank would still level between 18/20k.

LOL then something changed, the Loose aggressive player style appeared, and I tried to adapt, started to lose so decided to do the same strategy in trying to learn off one fantastic player at the $1/2 level he seems to bluff a lot and constantly putting people to the sword and getting paid, it just did not work for me, my bank just kept going down so after losing a few thousand decided to go back to the TAG style and once again I was constantly losing, I finally came to a decision and get out before the lot went with @4k left in the poker bank.

The game then to what it is now has changed so much, I had my chance and blew it. From laying out $800 per night for around 3 years to playing 25c and $5 satellites games, actually turning a full circle, because this is how I started the game, but the upside of this is I do well with these lol.

True story. paulw

Hello.
I have enough negative experience in that regard. Once I lost about $ 70.
True, it was BlackJack. After that, I do not play such games. Now, I prefer regular tournaments.

The stupidest thing is that I’m doing this trying to watch the Flop and looking at him, I’ll let the whole pot go down in the hope that at least two pairs will be dealt !!!
