Hello. Can I start a career with freerolls? Many poker rooms attract new players with freerolls. But the number of players and the prize pool are unlikely to fill the bankroll. I wonder if there are people who started with freerolls?
If you are good, you can build your bankroll from 1 cent. If you are bad you can lose 10 million dollars.
Its not the question about bankroll its a question about your skills. So it certainly would take a lot of time for you before you could start winning.
Well i have done it several times. On ACR got in prizes few times to get minimum amount of 80 cents to get to cash table, couple of days ago i had 60 bucks.

Well, everything is possible but the dedication and time to invest for this is a lot far beyond the money you can put in if not the money you will get from the freeroll games

I started with freerolls.

It's not about the money, it's about learning the theory and putting it into practice.
Once you have a solid understanding of the game - you can progress into buying into tournies, and having a positive ROI, though this can sometimes take years.

free poker -> Freerolls -> micros -> low etc. That's how I did it anyway.

I started my career 7 years ago, only with my own work without investments, then such a victory is more appreciated, it is always easier to bring in your own money, but it’s necessary to get up from scratch.

1 and 1/2 years ago I started playing on coinpoker (it has changed though) - I needed to verify the account with one deposit ( had part of an ETH so used that - around $2). With winnings there, I started on other accounts. Have over $3000 now - but a good third of that is cryptos rise - so more like $2000 in winnings. per hour rate - very, very little - in the cents per hour NOT dollar p/hour range.

Need to kick it up a gear as I am still an average player at best but with very strict bankroll management.

Well, to be honest I've been playing poker for many-many years now and I didn't start my poker ,,carreer" by freerolls. But....

But in february 2021 I lost my 14$ deposit mosly in badbeat situations and I told myself that in the next month (now, march 2021) I'm not gonna make a deposit again. I learn a lot instead of that, and I started playing in play money. Just for fun, because I love poker. But ...

I had the opportunity to play freerolls so I started playing them instead of playmoney, because, well, freerolls has almost the same players as playmoney tables does, and they are easy to beat. So I won a few cents, around 20-30 cents and I kept playing 0.1$ SNG's and stuffs. I kept winning. Now I have a 55$ bankroll that I made for free.

So to answer your question, yes, I believe that's possible to start with freerolls and to be successful with them, but my poker knowledge is way bigger than a newcomer's. You shoul learn a lot about poker and then you'll be fine.

Good luck buddy 😁

For many people playing freerolls also many buy ins from micros to high stakes and constantly clicking the withdrawal button has been the career for decades.
Welcome to CardsChat Andrea_21.:)

You only need to start playing with freerolls, there you will win a little and then play with this money in tournaments for money, and so on the ladder of tournaments go up, they say that some of the freerolls got rich.

Of course I remember that I also started about 14 years ago by playing with virtual chips, then with free tournaments, and today I can say that this is how I started my poker adventure.
Of course don't think that I won a lot, I only play it as a hobby.

Totally agree with you! I'm new to ACR and my bankroll goes up thanks to the trounois, freeroll or not. With Poker Stars I always have trouble building my bankroll yet I play the same ... harder on P.S?

I agree with you , with much patience and a little luck it could be done over a period of time. The most important thing is that you have some fun while doing it. Also you probably will irritate a few people which a.so can be fun in its own way

Perhaps first you need to understand the truth of the fear of freerolls to delve into their not strategic and sometimes not deliberate enthusiasm.Want to be the best at them.By earning experience in them, you will definitely begin to understand the game and improve your style. So my advice is not to bypass them-they are great in their own way!

Anything is possible with poker, I have come close to winning some bigger tourneys through playing freeroll's. I played a free roll to qualify for an $11.00 buy in game which paid out a top prize of over $20,000, who knows where I could have gone from there?
I also have qualified for a National final's where the top 10 players Qualified for the Vegas 100 through Grosvenor Casino's all from a free-roll.
So yes anything is possible!

When the fun Stops, STOP!

On Ps its unreal how they always call with any garbage hands its almost unreal 3 000 players all go al in al in it's not poker man is bullshet.
Actually on iPoker network its probably even more easy, players there are soft. But i personally love ACR software.

It's a good way to start and learn as you go.
This way you can earn a bank roll for bigger and better things.

Sure! I think freerolls are the best option for beginners or people who want to build a bankroll without loosing anything. Though it could be hard, I think it’s convenient and helps with game improvement.

I started my online career by playing 7 card stud, on Paradise Poker..(When the dog was a pup).

I can't recall many freerolls being around in those days, especially in what I was playing.

You can play many freerolls to start off with, but if you're thinking of bankrolling yourself, be aware, that many sites will not pay you freeroll money, unless you have made a deposit, and meet their rake requirements.

They do this under the guise of trying to avoid money laundering. My question is, if you haven't made any deposits, how can you money launder?

Anyway, it's their rules.

As far as myself, I play many freerolls on sites that I know, and I build up small winnings, and use them for buy-in tourneys. It works very well for me.

Good luck.

it depends what freerolls you want to play, for freerolls where the number of people is a few K + not a way to learn, a good way is CC freerolls where you can learn a lot. Just like playing at low stakes, less than $ 1, I think you count more on luck in tournaments like this than on skill. Unless luck makes us go far, then such tournaments are more like a game of poker :)

You can do it but its not easy. If you are willing to take the time to build up a bankroll and use proper bankroll management it is very possible. The real question is are you going to be disciplined enough to do this. Also are you willing to put in the time playing the free rolls for such a small amount of funds.
