Of course, poker isn't everything, especially for me who isn't a professional player.

Well, I play almost every day. But if I have a commitment I have no problem leaving a tournament in the middle and getting up... I've even done this when I was the chip leader to go out with my wife and children. I just got up and went. When I came back the tournament was over and I had won $0.80.

Poker is an addiction. And I'm hooked. Definitely. Probably for ever. Don't know if it's sad or not

Sometimes I want to play poker all day from dawn to dusk, but once I play enough I give it a brake for some days.
Poker is a game that can be easily addictive, but if you spend too much time playing it, it can become boring.

Yes, I can, but I like to play whenever I can, for me today poker is a hobby and a way to earn extra money.

"If it can be done, but life without poker is very sad, hahaha. Discipline is very important; it's about consistency. In the long run, you always end up winning, whether you're a novice or a professional player. It's just necessary for the stars to align :)

I could live even more days without poker, but the curiosity to see what else is happening on the forum, I think it would be harder. I got some virus 😃 but I like it.

I think I would be concerned if I couldn't go a day without playing poker, haha. I also feel that taking some time off from playing helps me focus more and avoid playing like a robot, on autopilot.
And regarding playing less often, I suppose if you're not getting results, you'll simply get tired, and over time, you'll choose to learn.

i play online every day unless i am traveling and have no internet access . i'd go to a live casino more but the rake taken here in california is ridiculously high . i don't think the small stakes games can be beaten long term no matter how well you play !

Indutibaly, I often take a day or two off. It is a grind and one does need a lacuna from time to time.

For me its hard, its a daily routine. On gg there is a daily gift, this i collect every day. On 888 i could play the cardschat freerolls every day so i try to attend on every game. I have 3 site on which i play. There are every day chances to get free spots. If i win some good money i try to win money in micro tourneys. I knew its not healthy to play every day but i dont look any tv or smoke. On fault in live is ok, i think so.

For me its getting harder and harder to stop for awhile do you have any tips so that I could focus on learning rather than playing continuously hoping something will change 🥲
And also how long you stayed without playing poker?
I play every day so I'm not the one to give you advice on how to play less.

Depending on real life needs and other things, it can pass weeks without playing.
