I have hit straight and royal flushes a few times and I can tell you that someone has to hit their hand to really make it worthwhile. Otherwise you just slow play it the best you can. Most time though ppl fold because they play crappy cards and didn't hit anything. I won two cheap jackets from Foxwoods because I hit two different royals about a month apart.

Ofcourse it depends on the situation I have to deal with, but most of the times I think if I have bet , I'll cbet , if not and out of position maybe I would just slow play it to see the actions of the opponent(s) , maybe give him/them a free card .

I can't remember for sure if I've hit one on the flop or not. Pretty sure I have though, being that I've probably hit five or six in the last 10 years. But one thing for sure I be slow playing the hell out of it..

If you hit the Royal Flush on the flop, you need to slowplay ofcourse, and hope that your opponents in the pot will get something on turn and river. Because you know, it,s the best hand in poker, but it can be also useless, if no one pays this. So need to be very care with your bets and take some patience.

I saw it only on YouTube, when I got something I'll tell you what I did :) I would probably wait to go the other players and I'd just paid until the river :)

Having 2 suited maps of "Broadway", the chance to get a royal flush on the flop: 0.0008% Having a royal flush without 1 card on the flop, a chance to get it on the turn: 2% Having a royal flush without 1 card on the flop, a chance to get it to the river: 4% Having a royal flush without 1 card on the turn, a chance to get it on the river: 2%
When you have collected a royal flush, the main thing is not to scare off players)

Usually hands that you don't have to work for, don't really pay off. Like flopping quads probably wont pay as much as turning and rivering quads. So flopping a royal flush probably wont get you the 8 way all in that you dream of.
