Yes, I would probably play differently if a large amount of people were watching me, even though I shouldn't.

I would probably play a little tighter so the person thinks I know what I am doing. Then the next time I play with that person I would play loosely to fool him/her.

I doubt I would play differently if someone were watching unless they threw in some input.

I once won a 300 player tourney while on the phone with someone who was watching start to finish and stated all of my intentions in each hand.

This was when online poker was much easier though.

I don't mind watching, because I always value playing focused and concentrated, having a stare that doesn't give anything away...regardless of whether someone is watching from the outside or at the table

I once played at Felipe Mojave's table for the player who was broadcasting on twitch by GGpoker and I was talking to him and he was analyzing my game and I played as hard as possible because I was afraid of criticizing myself or thinking I was really bad so I was very tense, so yes I play differently when someone watches me.

In a live Cash Game I never allow anyone to watch.
I think it takes away from the pure poker when they show the cards on TV or online. But I do understand how it increases the audience interest.

Would you fold more/less or play more rational?

Not nowadays, but it's a good question I realized this a lot when I started recording, trying to broadcast or even staking.
It was good because I realized that! I made the best decisions when I knew I was being watched. so i changed nowadays i watch myself!

I tend to play a little different when people are watching me play. I tend to play differently when there is no one around also though.

I think most people say yes to this... That's one of the main reasons why so many want to stream poker on Twitch - it improves their performance & focus.

hmm good question

i am not sure if i would willingly play different . maybe if the person watching me wants to learn poker maybe i would play a little tighter and more solid and not do some risky or crazy moves that i often do

otherwise it is possible that i would be a little nervous and my game might be worse due to people watching me . but i would try to play as good as possible of course

I don't think I play any differently with someone watching me...my son will critique every play I make that doesn't work, or that he would play differently. He is strangely silent when I make a play he disagrees with, but I win.
You can't change how you play with people watching if you play live at casinos.

A long time ago, I used to get embarassed and play the way othera think I should. But those days are past. The people who watched me play never saw two cards that they didn't want to go in on. I tell them I am in it to win money, they can play their game the way they like.

I don't think it would change anything in my game with or without an audience, we can say, if I changed something in the game, it would be for things like the size of the prize that would determine if it's worth playing unbalanced or closer to the gto. I would also change the style according to the opponent plus the crowd itself in some people can cause the effect of playing tighter with fear maybe of being eliminated so soon lol ;)

I think no longer, if you fight against mirror thinking, you can do whatever you want live

It's a nice feeling when somebody stepping by, but it won't change much, since you're playing for yourself and with your cards. :)

Yes, if I played in a big tournament, I was influenced by the atmosphere of the people around me and I would throw off my hands and that would be a huge amount, but since I play at home I can play with small pairs and I'm not under pressure from the atmosphere

I hope not, it must not be a healthy habit, I'll police myself and avoid it if that happens.
