My favorite hand to play is the 9 4. That's right, you're reading that correctly, the one and only 9 4. You might be thinking, '9 4 is such a trashy hand why even put your money in with it?' Here's why. I've found that most people don't tend to play cards with 9s or 4s in them (usually only in the case of a pocket pair) so you're almost live with them. Also, I've gotten pretty lucky with it, it seems like EVERY time I get dealt this I ALWAYS pair my 9, or my 4, and often times both right on the flop. This is especially useful because it's very difficult ( I'd say almost impossible) to put someone on 9 4 so therefore the high chances (I've experienced) of you getting payed off when you hit is very very high. Don't believe me? Try playing my favorite hand sometime and you might see what I mean. ;)

I personally love J8 suited or not. Part of the reason is when I first started playing online I played it alot and Jacks in general are good to me. My friend who plays poker well would always pm me when I hit with it telling meto stop playing that hand it is not profitable I am just lucky. Drives him nuts and I get a thrill out of it. It also is usually undetected and I usually end up getting called a donk or rookie, lol
So its kinda like my practical joke when we are on the same table.

Depending on the situation (can play it cheap,BB ect.) I like K9...gonna sound really dumb but i folded this hand twice preflop in a home game and the flop came k99 once and kk9 the next.

So i play online later that week....flod it preflop and guess what???? it starts hitting all the time. Like it was teasing me to play it.

So ill play that hand in the right situation.

Thanks for reading...

Well, well, I always like to play A9d, why the diamonds? What's better than playing hands with diamonds? Off course, AA is a better hand, but A9d always make me remember about a hand I played with some friends. I raised pre-flop with the A9d, three people called me, there´s the flop:As 10d Qd. I felt someone hit his pair of aces, but I still had the nut-flush draws. Someone raised, and everyone has called, so the pot was getting bigger and bigger. The turn: Jd, I made my flush, I had the best hand, but better than that, someone made his straight, someone had top pair an one of them (donkey) had a Q. On the river it was a 7c. I went all-in. One guy called me, and I was the guy with the money. That's what makes A9d so special to me.

ive said it before and i will say it again....

10 8 baby!!!

im not as great as doyle brunson (yet:) ), but i do have a hand named named after me, be it only in our area tourneys and league events. But everyone knows about the "DHP". it is literally the "deadliest hand in poker". depending on the situation, i have limped with this hand, bamm monster. or i have reraised with this hand. bamm monster. or i have pushed all in with this hand...BAMMM SCOOPING CHIPS.

just this past saturday in our league event, i was down to 6 BBs at about the 4th level and had 10-8 in mid position and pushed, SB chiplead woke up with A 10 sooted and called. i hated to see that i was dominated, and JROD hated to see the "DHP", bammmmm 6-7-9 flop!!!! the deadliest hand in poker strikes again, scoop the pot, and kickstart my way to a 3rd place finish.

Ok, my favorite hand is easily 22. I know its called ducks by many but myself and a local friend always call it "The Spanish Inquisition" Its derived from the old Monty Python skit:
Watch it here
and don't forget the best one The Comfy Chair!

When one of us hits the set we always yell "Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

My personal favorite is 99 and here's why

Playing in a live $1-3 NL Holdem game at Casino Niagara. UTG raises to $12 (pretty standard for a PP at the table), MP calls, I flat call.

Flop is 9-A-9 (Woohoo!!!)

UTG bets out $20. MP flat calls. I raise to $40

UTG raises to $150. MP Folds. I shove for my remaining $225, UTG calls

He proudly flips over his AA and looks on in terror as I flip the 99.

While I won the pot, I was quietly rooting for the other A to come for the bad beat bonus

Sadly, the other A did not come and all I could do was rake the pot

lemme tell you ahead of time, this is gonna get weird...i really enjoy the cards 78s because they are 2 of my luckiest numbers. also because 7+8 equals 15. 15 has the multiples of 5 and 3 in it. 3 is the number of heaven and 5 is the highsest number before you make it to 6 which is the number of the devil. with these 2 cards i feel as though i have all luck on my side.

I think it would be a lot more fun if you did it drunk and then tried to explain your reasoning when you were sober!:D:D:D

K-J off suite, I didn't figure yet why they got to be off suite but it seems that they have to be that way or it doesn't work, after sometime of playing poker I noticed that almost every time I play this hand I win, it even doesn't depends if I win it with a great hand or just by the bluff, I just love this hand!!

anything with a jack in it. it is just my lucky card, when i fold it it hits. out of anyother card i get or fold this is the one for me. kinda superstitious about it. ofcourse if the blinds are too high im not gonna play J 2 or something like that but it is good to play when i can afford a loss. It is ridiculous how many times i've folded a hand with a J in it and the flop hit a full house or somethin big like that.
