In the long run you will win more than you loose if you play good solid poker.Sometimes you loose even if you are the favorite to win but most of the time you will win when you have the best hand.Structual fluctuactions are a part of playing poker.

The biggest thing to remember is variance so be sure to play with a eye to your bankroll if you play tournaments of $1.00 buy in have a $200.00 bankroll and be patient it took me a long time to learn this lesson I would do good then play to big a buy in and loose a large part of my bankroll

Probably you don’t know how to organize your bankroll. And you may playing some buy-ins too high for you at the moment.

freerolls for the win.. If you lose more than you win on the longrun then I have a small hint for you: maybe you play bad or at least against opponents that are much better... If you always play with the same people, you might be their fish ;)

You probably lack good bankroll management, study more on this subject.

this is a good question, the answer is simple because the level of play is low

Most of the players probably have the same problem.
Everyone knows that bankroll management must be followed, but not everyone can consistently follow the rules.
Only those who are patient and pay attention to how much money they could play at what stake can be successful.
If the demands have to be lowered, not many do it and rather take risks, which usually end in failure.

At first its important to get a target for you. Whats your motivation for playing poker? And if you are clear with the goal. You could get the plan to achieve the goal. For me its also difficult. I think iam a winning player on mtt. Bu i also play the short games like spin an go. There is a high variance and im not a winning player. So i loose my bankroll on these games. But im clear that i play for fun and if in win money i invested in more fun. But if your goal is to win money you must learn the rules of bankroll management.

this can be happening in several ways, you will have to be more specific, sometimes you are not having good bankroll management, you are winning and you must be playing outside the buy in range that your bankroll supports, or you are also not consistent in the poker, playing only a few days, not playing too much What you should do is self-evaluate yourself and study a little about bankroll management and consistency in poker

who has the same problem as me ? 🤔

can someone give me some advice? 🙏

I don't quite understand the question. Do you win some money but then lose it or do you get ITM and then lose the tournament? Either way, unless you are a pro, poker is a hobby and you should treat it that way until you get to the level that you can make an main income off of it. But, even then, there will be times you go broke. You see these guys flaunting around big stacks of cash on these poker shows and think that they are so rich when a lot of them will borrow money to play or win big and then lose big and be broke. That's why so many of the pros are now "coaches" too. They need that additional income and that steady money because of the swings in poker. So, hang in there, you will have upswings.

Probably you are an average player, if you get a little better you will win some more than lose.

hahahhahahahahahaha. Well welcome to the gambling world. That is just the way it is. Try and control yourself by any means necessary and if you can't and it still bothers you. Well then I think the only other way possible is for you to quit. And yes, I have the same problem and I'm still trying to control myself. But I'm not a quitter and I will always have hope to make something big someday. When I do!! I just hope I don't lose it all...:unsure::unsure:. LOL Good luck

Only two possibilities here:
#1 - you didn't start with enough $ for the game spread available
#2 - you did have enough, but you mismanaged your bankroll

Study your results, and experiment with bankroll management strategies. Here's a very generic template:
Cash games - never allow yourself to have more than 5% of your bankroll in one game (that means not buying into bigger ones AND forced cashout when your wins make you have more than 5% on the table)
MTTs - never buy-in for more than 1% of your bankroll

But those are two extremely generalized rules.
You'll need to know yourself in order to refine them to your style, habits, emotional control, etc.
It takes time and energy.

I've been having the same problem lately, losing everything. In order not to upset myself, I only play in freerolls.
