hmmm

That's a good question. I really have no idea how I learned to play. I just remember 2001 or something when online poker became a thing always playing online, dont remember much before then. Maybe my first time playing was online, hmm

I learnt to play on zynga poker, after that i was walking in a casino here in Suriname and saw some people playing it on a table. I asked if i could join, and that was the birth of me as a poker-lover/admirer/player.
And now i play everywhere wherever i can play poker. From pokerstars to ACR, you just name it.:D
It's like oxygen for me now, if i don't get it on time i may suffocate:cool:

Until we meet at the tables.
Gl at the tables and may the cards be with you.:joyman:

Lol, losing taught me to play. We as kids would play draw poker for matchsticks, that's where I learned the hands. What about you?

My wino Uncle (he had what is now called PTSD from WW2) when I was 11 years old, that was 60 years ago. I lived was raised by my Great-Grandmother and him. We were very poor so we would play for match sticks on Saturday nights.

I was playing poker with friends in 5th grade and then stopped after I went to another school. I started playing again last year and I always learned by myself but I'm watching poker videos and reading poker articles. I'm also planning to buy some poker books.

When I started playing poker, my brother taught me. Then I began to read books about poker, watch the game played by the professionals and gradually improve my game. Now I play poker quite well, but I need to learn a lot more.

A friend wanted to start playing poker and I really like card games but I did not know much about poker so I decided to look at google and little by little I was learning and nowadays I keep learning since it is a very nice game but Much strategy and concentration, the important thing for me is to know how to play without being on a broken bank that is something cute and fun and not something stressful that depends on my income but rather a distraction

I started the game myself, I liked it, then I put it to rest, restore my skills, read, watch videos, on the forum there are many people writing useful tips, I take everything into account.

I mostly just taught myself poker. Back in 2004 there were no modern books, training sites, coaches and so on like we have today. Heck, there wasn't even YouTube or Twitch videos to watch!

So I mostly learned the game the old fashioned way, by playing a ton and learning from my own successes/mistakes!

Poker has always been a special part of my life. My grandfather taught me to play when I was very young. When I think back to my young life most of my memories come from sitting at a table playing poker with all the older people in my family. A lot of these people are now gone so I cherish there memories a lot and thank my grandfather for teaching me and letting me sit down with all the older people. I know I would drive him crazy always singing or making noise but he never cared. Not to mention he would let me win when I was young which I didn't find out about until I was much older and he would woop me bad lol. I think poker is so much more than just another gambling game. Feel free to share who taught you or any cool poker stories you have.

I learned to play poker from my son.

A touching story. It's great when there are such memories of grandfathers and grandmothers!

I was taught poker by my brother who lives remotely, in another country ... Fortunately, at that time there was already the Internet)
