the way isildur talks reminds me a little of luke schwartz. much less antagonistic of course... but i can understand him saying, 'losing to brian hastings'. lol, pwning the likes of ivey and dwan, only to lose it all to hastings.

Supposedly a little of both. EV graphs were showing isildur down $1,000,000

yeah this guy may be good be he's no pro yet. He had a descent bankroll but i'm not sure if he has anything left after Brian Hastings ripped through him for $4.2million, it was posted on cardplayer that losing this amount probably cost him his whole bankroll. But when you play heads up for so much money unless you've got alot put away it's very dangerous. Just too much variance heads up.

patrick antonius is really giving him a lot of respect. Isidur1 hasn't earn my respect yet I still think he is a noob that got a lucky run.

i agree, not quitting/stopping from playing after winning 5mil is pretty mind boggling.

Then quitting after you win $500 is a good idea too.

I mean why would he keep playing when he could just look himself up on PTR and see he was gonna just lose it all?

^Hah, I admire Isildurs balls, but he just lost it to Hastings, at some point you have to stop...realize that you've just lost over 4 million in one day. At some point you're beyond tilted and just digging your own grave.

I agree about the respect thing. This is a newcomer and people should have to earn their respect, not be able to buy it.

Was it KC or Oz who said he'd broke soon?

The guy did some sick wins in a very short time and obviously doesn't have any control if he will lose 4mil in a day. So sick to lose that kind of money, but to do it in a day? Wow.

Sounds like he needs to slow down and get some brm advice.

There have been studies done about people who have won the lottery and went broke because they never learned how to manage money. Sounds like this guy is doing the same thing.
