What is your routine before starting a poker game?

No specific routine, I just set the table before starting the day's games. Then it's one tournament after another.

Before the game, I always try to finish all daily tasks, first of all work, and of course daily household tasks. It is important for me that nothing distracts me during the game.

Most important thing before I start a poker session (for many hours) is to have rested , slept enough or else I will not try playing games , not even a 2 hour sng , cause if I am tired I play extremely loose . Besides that , right before I start playing, I take food , drinks , I have gone to toilet , I open some other programs besides poker room Apps to keep me entertained (browser , netflix , music or whatever) .

Besides being well rested, I like to review some of my previous mtts/cash games to see where I've done some spew or mistakes to not reproduce them. Preparing some coffee and I'm fully ready for the session.

There is no ritual, at about 6 pm I return from work, finish some household chores and at 7.30-8.00 pm I sit down to play some tournament.

I recently acquired a course, so I'm attending a class before starting, because the games start in the afternoon, I intend to create a solid daily study routine, for now it's being in the morning, before the games, but eventually I can change the schedule.
