The ideal duration of a tourney is a whole week at the wsop ME!!

It is only a matter of choice, you choose your game with the field you are interested in and the time you have available! But if you want to win big, you gotta win some tourneys, and it takes the time takes!

what would be the ideal time for a poker game. I think it should have a maximum of 1 hour of play, there are games that take up to 5 hours, because the players pass the time hoping to enter the awards and this is very tiring for the mind.

I think if all games were an hour long, everyone would be winning money. The fact that the game lasts 5 hours seperates the good players from the rest.

If you are not comfortable 4-5 hours playing in the tournament, choose tournaments with a small number of players and where there is no late registration.

For me it would be 2-3 hours, however there are players who just love to play so 5 hours would not be too long for them.

I don't think can really put prime number on this but from my experience play as long you feel comfortable calm relaxed and still realize variance happens ( don't tilt) and for other parameter should be to have fun and enjoy the game its meant to be fun and have a healthy life balance just my insights. New to site but man smh i have played 72 hour sessions at casino before I can't preach it enough don't think variance instantly goes away have fun and enjoy it
