I tend to tilt many times with some players who make moves that don't make any sense and in the end it still works out, with those who don't even care about the tournament and go all in with any card, but what about you? What makes you tilt?
You know, it's different. Even sometimes there is a deliberate tilt without emotion (if you are in a hurry, for example, to watch a movie with a cold beer). But it's very hard to provoke me into an emotional tilt. I've already seen too much in poker, so I try to get only positive emotions. You have to love playing poker both when you win and when you lose!

Nothing, really. I have been through almost every situation that you can possibly be from winning in a "runner, runner" situation to losing with quads... And I have accepted it is all part of the game... So, I accept everything that comes my way and move on... I become immune to everything, good or bad, in about 2 minutes after it hits me.

Nothing. I know that there are many more important things than poker and I don't get upset. This is also part of the game.

I very seldom "tilt", but I do have difficulty with getting bored, especially if the game goes for several hours. Thus, my best poker success is playing Single Table SnGs. I think that getting tired of playing and losing interest in playing both relate to getting bored.

I haven't really titled in quite a long time. I've learned not to tilt due to another player's play. People are going to play how they play and the cards are going to lay how they lay, you can't control those 2 things. What you can control is your own play and your attitude at the table. I think the only thing that hasn't gotten to me is when someone wins a hand and then makes a snarky remark. It doesn't get to me as much these days, but it used to. It goes back to what you can and can't control at the table, because you can't control another's attitude; only your own. But seriously, just don't be a dick at the table.

You shouldn't feel tilt , you should try yo stay calm always of possible . Getting angry won't give you a win or anything . Nowadays I control completely myself at the tables , no tilt for me.

I usually get tilted when I know I made a bad move. Some easy play where I end up playing wrong.

I have been playing poker for 7 years now and for the last 3-4 years I have been able to easily control my emotions. The whole point is that with time and experience I have become much more disciplined and patient, I always follow bankroll management and in fact there are no such situations that would make me do something stupid :)

This right here.

Good question!
Full Tilt… getting sucked out on by a marginal hand - deep in a big tournament. It happens wayyy too often. It keeps the conspiracy theory alive in terms of algorithm/card manipulation for some online sites. It sucks losing. Try not throwing another ipad against the wall…

What puts me on the most unreal tilt is when the river cancels my flop nuts. Top set on the flop? Keep the 4 flush board without hitting the suit. You have a :10s4::jh4: and flop :7c4::8d4::9h4:?! Just imagine how fun it will be if I(RNG) put the:10h4: on turn and the:js4: on river.. And there will always be a monkey who will stretch out his AQo through 2 large bets and will take the pot with an overbet, because our hand was simply voided.

Sometimes, I'll admit, I get a little frustrated when I see players making questionable calls and hitting their only out on the river. It's a frustrating situation when I've had the upper hand the whole hand, and in the end I lose to a lucky move. However, I understand that this is part of the game and it is important not to let these situations undermine my confidence or my strategy. You have to remember that poker is a long-term game and that these lucky situations eventually even out. It's important to stay calm, continue to play in a disciplined manner and trust in my ability to make the best decisions possible.
Poker can be a rollercoaster of emotions, especially when you've played a hand well only to be outdrawn on the river. However, your perspective on the game is spot on. Recognizing that luck plays a role in poker and that these situations will eventually balance out in the long run is crucial.

What makes me tilt is waiting for good cards and then when they finally have them crappie cards come out on the flop. it makes me tilt when it happens after 5 attemps..... Grrrrrrrrrr frustating. Then I see people playing crappie cards and raising it pre flop and then raising again even if they have nothing. But oh well this is poker. I just have to deal with it the best I can, Good luck at the tables

The thing that makes me angry is when I'm not paying attention to the game and I make mistakes that I would definitely make when I'm focused on the game.

I find multiple bad beats in a short time period difficult to get over. Especially if you lose a good bit of your hard earned stack!

I love doing that even though it's dangerous! Any idiot with low non connected & off suit cards might hit but it's rare.

For example tonight I played low rent .01/.02 40 cent buy in at a 6 seat table. Played very tight aggressive against the idiots until I had a tad over $12.80 & the table was empty forcing me to move. The next table was the same buy in but everyone had from $6 to $11.80. I folded the the first two trash hands while checking everyone's stats and believe it or not all raised over 20% of the time, two were at 28% of raising (idiots).

Hand #3 I was dealt rocket only to be raised & that called by everyone. AA could have easily been sucked out on then the flop came AA4c. (Thank you very much dealer!) Of course I checked and before the turn the whole table was all in ( low rent idiots!). Needless to say the outcome or my need to find a new table again.

Know your opponents tendencies & you'll know when to slow play or if you're being slow played.

It all depends on what you define as "Tilt", Generally I am in full control of my emotions and really don't care if I win or lose, I play because I enjoy the game regardless of the outcome, If it is considered that by losing a game can "Tilt" you then really you should step away from the tables and reflect on what got you there.
I have known some players to smash their Computer Screens when they lose a pivotal hand, playing on-line, But at the end of the day it's not the Screen's fault and all you are doing is adding insult to the injury, because if you cannot afford to lose the money you bought in for, then losing more money to replace expensive equipment is just stupid!
Yes I have made mistakes in the past, lost a big pot and then pushed all in on the next hand just to get out of a game, If this is what you consider "Tilt" then yes I have been put on "Tilt" but I can step away from a Tournament table after doing this then go straight onto a Cash table and Win! Because what happens on one table does not leave that table with me, Game Over, and Move On!
