I tend to tilt many times with some players who make moves that don't make any sense and in the end it still works out, with those who don't even care about the tournament and go all in with any card, but what about you? What makes you tilt?

I usually don't tilt.

But what makes me emotional or close to tilting is if I make a big mistake or I play badly.

Don't let their bad play tilt you! You can't control their behavior or the run out of cards on the board.

Tilt is a state of psychological anger: defeat due to failure is perceived as an injustice. I stopped tilting and feeling negative emotions from losing. Everyone wants to win. Those who have done the most to win win.The main conclusion that I came to only after years: "The problem is not in the game and not in our skills in this game." Here you can not search and not dig - there is nothing there. We learn to play just by playing. The longer we play, the better we play.

What puts me on tilt is someone playing a terrible hand like 92 or 73 becuase they are suited and then saying the did the right thing "because they were suited". Or someone calling my all-in with a str8 or a flush-draw and hitting some weird runner-runner to beat me with another hand. e.g. I have top two pair, they have two lower cards that haven't hit and they two of one of them to make trips. That really makes me angry. Of course I'm out of the tournamnet at thet point so Tilt doesn't really affect me play. LOL

What make's me tilted? Nice question...

Some times i can't get over the bad beat, and if this happened couple of time in a row make's me angry... (Also my mistakes, and they are a lot.)

I have to work on that - how not to be a tilted!!!

(Come to think of it - this is the number one problem that needs to be fixed... in to my game. This could cost me a loss of bankroll. (Before this - losing the bankroll - happened very often, but now I manage to stop it somehow. I seem to have grown a litte bit. :D)

Greetings :)

Nowadays I don't do Tilt anymore, but in the past any bad beat irritated me a lot, to the point that I closed the game and ****ed up.

Sometimes, I'll admit, I get a little frustrated when I see players making questionable calls and hitting their only out on the river. It's a frustrating situation when I've had the upper hand the whole hand, and in the end I lose to a lucky move. However, I understand that this is part of the game and it is important not to let these situations undermine my confidence or my strategy. You have to remember that poker is a long-term game and that these lucky situations eventually even out. It's important to stay calm, continue to play in a disciplined manner and trust in my ability to make the best decisions possible.

I don't think the other players tilt me anymore, although I do find someone maxing out the time every hand to be a pain in the ass👍

This also will some times make me tilt. I always try to keep my emotions in check, but it can be annoying to have people calling your high pockets with under cards and hitting 2 pair or a flush to beat you

Well usually I don’t mind what other players do but sometimes it is just out of my hand how I react especially when they play every stupid hand and they get rewarded

when i play live poker rooms in California the house rake sets me off . they will drop 3 bucks every flop ( even if the pot only has $5 ), another dollar if the pot gets to about $20, and more as the bets grow. taking 5 dollars off the table almost every hand makes all small games, whether limit or no limit ,practically unbeatable . why bother ?

Nothing.
I play with discipline, I follow bankroll management, I don't invest my own money in the game, and thanks to this I play calmly, without nerves and always focused. My opponents, no matter how they play, will not provoke me into hasty or rash decisions.

Hello brother
Well this is not an easy question to answer, although I will try.
In my beginnings, around the year 2000, it was very difficult for me to go there.
With the passage of time I began to see it as something natural in the game.
I don't do it constantly, but I do it at different stages of the game, especially from the middle onwards.
In the beginning, unless you have premium hands especially AA or KK, it is very difficult to go all-in. First, because you don't know the players at your table in general. Second, because you find many kite players who go allin with any card and can even beat you. It's good that in MTT Ko you have the possibility of rebuys, but in general I try not to do them, that is, play the tournament normally, as if it were a freezeout.
As you get closer to the bubble, the situation changes.
That is where the feelings of entering ITM begin to play, also the players who limp at the possibility of seeing the big hand, and many other situations such as position ranges, etc.
Likewise, I don't go allin with bluffs or semibluffs, don't worry, if I go allin I have something behind me.
I also believe that to go there you must also have some respect at the table. In other words, going all-in with AA anyone can do it, now going all-in with 66 is more difficult, but if you at the table achieved some respect and especially the one you will face has a stack less than yours and knows that he can be left out of the tournament against a bad decision, that player will think a lot before paying you an allin for example with K9 A10 A9 or hands like that.
Then there are players with whom I have a lot of respect when it comes to going there and they are the Germans and especially the Ukrainians. They limps and openraises a lot in early position, and if you're going to shove against them be aware that you have something very important on your hands, because behind those openings they usually have bombs that when they explode they knock you out.
Well try to be as clear as possible.
Greetings brother and very good post:):):)

This really put me on tilt in a local casino , NLHE $1/3, lost with 99 to KK, next hand flopped a str8 lost to a flush, next hand had AA was raised all in pre flop lost to J2 two pair. now that's tilt

I would not say that I tilt really hard and stay in this state for a long time, but there are hands that ruin my balance for a short time) For example - the opponent is all-in with weak aces and the flop is three aces :D

Yes, it's terrible when bad players play terrible and they don't understand it just know they just give you chips and you're just unlucky and this happens a lot in poker so just be glad you lost to a bad player because you'll beat him at distances so you need to play with them more carefully and everything will be me it drove me a little bit tilt but now it's not

About your tilt issues, just remember those people always loose in the long term, stick to your strategy and don't let a bad beat annoys you. For me, I use to tilt on my own bad decisions, for example not calling with a hand that ended being the best X(
