I don't know why, but my blood pressure raises when someone minbets, call my ridiculous raise, and then just minbets again on the next street ._. (5NL)
I had the exact hand beat me last night. Ihad aj suited and was big stack @ my table I reraised 4x bb pre flop get called . Fine. The board comes up 3 clubs with j as the high card. He raises oop, I reraise him ai( he had been playing loose so I was not concerned about his raise)and he calls.w Q4 off. The turn was a blank. He rivers a club and acts like he made a great play by calling. I have to admit, I was so aggravated by his superstar comments that I made sure he didn't cash but unfortunately I hurt myself too. In short, bad play coupled with I am a superstar but you suck comments can get to me.What tilts me...... Hmmm.
When I keep getting dealt garbage, repeatedly. Then, I finally get a decent starter. I raise. I get 4 callers. I miss the flop, C/F. The winning hand is Q-4o.
Then, like others said, watching people just play terribly can continue to luckbox. Here is an example.
A really loose luckbox player limps in MP. I fold, a couple callers (FR). Gets around to BB, who raises to $0.32 (2c5c). Only player to call is the luckbox.
Flop 3-8-3 two spades. BB bets, luckbox calls. BB C/C remaining streets. Luckbox rolls over 8-3s FTW.
Things like this tilt me after a while, assuming I am just running bad in general, and losing.
What tilts me the most is others success when I can see they are a TERRIBLE player.
Like a Bovada 100k tourney and player 681 has won 7 flips where they were at best 50% a favorite just once.
Its super frustrating for me seeing a player win Q10 vs AA 3 times in a row then to just bust me with the same hand.
Second is people floating on a board with AhKh on 7c9cJs. Floating to the river just to hit an ace or king when they were not given the correct odds to be in.
People who don't understand the basic laws of physics make me tilt. People who argue positions based on "feelings and semantics" regardless of what the scientific evidence says, makes me tilt.
Not so much a poker reference...just what makes me tilt in general.
