I no longer tilt when I get a bad beat because I have accepted it to be an inevitable part of poker. My aces could get busted and I would be okay as long as I played the hand well.

What makes me go crazy though is when I make an unsuccessful bluff or a stupid hero call. Especially when I do that in tournaments and mess up a good position trying to be cute.

I also hate it when I fail to notice that I am not beating any good hand and try to do a value bet on the river only to be check-raised.

So basically as long as I am making the right decisions I wont tilt. I am really trying to tell myself that every poker player will do something stupid sometimes and it should be accepted as a part of the game and just try to lower the no. of mistakes but you cant eliminate them.

I think this is really what makes someone a really really good player that they dont fuss too long over mistakes.

So what makes you tilt?

Happens to me when I experience one bad beat after another. You know it can happen but after a few in a row you start the "this site is fixed" mentality. Then your KK all in gets cracked by A,3. Then your flopped straight loses and your flush gets beat on the river, and that's more than enough to put you on tilt. At least it's more than enough to put me on tilt. When I start saying un effing believable out loud more than a couple of times, im there, dude!

I dont really go on tilt after a bad hand, i go on tilt after multiple bad hands, its gotten easier for me to shake of a bad beat, but when it seems to happen to me all the time, thats when i start to get crazy.

As human being,we cant totally avoid tilt, what we can do is how to let tilt under control.I think everyone has his own way to do that,as long as we know tilt without control will hurt our playing.

I think that tilt is unavoidable, but it is possible to lesses their effects on ourplay. The first thing to do is to know when we are in tilt, accept it and stop playing. Then, a good understanding of the mistakes we make, and a good understanding of variance can also help to make you tilt less. The best thing is to fully comprehend what you are doing when you play. When you fully know what you are doing at the tables, you won't get tilted too much, since there is risk of loosing, when we don't have the nuts.
Tiltilg depends on each person, but this will surely help you

Not bad beats, but BAD plays I don't mind losing coinflips or slight favorites but when a player gets themselves in an outrageous predicament and then benefits from my expense.... well that's when the steam comes outta my ears lol

thats the reason i only play cap tables against bad players lol, those 2 outer beats on the river are easier to swallow.

I believe that we should not lean toward a bad hand to and knowing about taking, but if you are more in at least 30 min I think s better to take a break for a day or two to calm down and take best decision write the country analyzing our game a little more

When some guy starts openly degrades another player by revealing his stats online, i hate it, half the time their stats are nothing to write home about.

Good of you to learning dealing with tilt. I think I have a long way to go there. If I loses a big pot or lose great starting hands, like KK,AA,AK. I start tilt if someone has stupid luck on the river and so on.. :) I think I am easier to tilt earlier in the tournaments, if I got under startstack start I stress a lot to come back.. :)

But I will take some of your thoughts and try to improve my game, thanks! :)

I tend to get more tilted if I get it all-in with the weaker hand, as opposed to if I get bad beat.

Often it is really stupid as well. Like today I went all-in with a full house vs quads against some guy whose username I didn't like. I lost 90% of my chips to him on it, went all-in with the next hand as well against him and he 2 outed me.

I could feel myself getting too emotionally involved, but a full house is hard to turn down. Shit like that just annoys me because although I was dealt an unlucky situation, I still could have controlled better it if I hadn't wanted all of my opponent's chips because of his username.

The actual thing never bothers me, the reasons why the thing happened does.

See an idiot player stealing my money with donkey moves. That´s horrible. About the bad beats for me it´s normal, it´s simply poker and we have to accept except if your opponent play it like a donk.

It's relative! Poker has its good and bad like everything! but I think if you played a good hand and not be lost in the past uqdarse must go on! Hcer a bad bluff is part of the game one must know how to overcome it!

Mainly if I get out-drawned by fish gutshots despite me nearpotting every street.

Also, being ahead more than 4 buy ins in a session also puts me into an overconfident LAG frenzy.

Getting my aces cracked after preflop shoving doesn't tilt me anymore, I have grown past that.

Bad beats don't normally send me on tilt but bad decisions frequently do.

I get so mad at myself for being dumb that I lose all rationality.

The only times that bad beats will do it is when I am playing tired.

I don't generally tilt very easily. Certain things will get me to do it though. Multiple bad beats is an easy tilt-able. Most of the time what gets me to tilt is actually myself though. I hate it when I make a dumb decision and then pay for it.
