Started off on my grandfather's lap at the age of 4 or 5 and then my grandmother or mother would hand me their video poker handheld machine in car rides to AC or Vegas or the Indian casinos depending on where we lived. Poker has definitely been a family affair for me and I have fond memories of beating my older brother at his high school home game. My favorite hand was in 5 card draw and I had quad Jacks and he had quad 8s. Never before in my life had I ever laughed while getting punched in the leg later in the evening for doing this to him and taking half of his money, hahaha. I still remind of this.

The first time I started playing poker when a friend told me about the pokerstars gaming platform was when I was 22 years old. At that time, I was earning my own living and could afford to play poker and improve in it by trial and error.

I think my father taught me 5 card draw when I was 13 I think. Fast forward I came across the Full Tilt system and started playing play chips. After watching Daniel Negreanu play, I eventually went from play money to real money. Rest is history.

Early age playing poker
When my father had to baby sit me around five years old I was taken to back room games and I watched and learned little by little. I was more interested in the tips I was making running for smokes,sandwiches and drinks. Dollar here dollar there racked up pretty quickly. They all played five card draw, you could draw three and there were no wild cards back in the day. This was around 1963 the good old days and everyone was packing in the Italian American club. Happy I could share with everyone brings back nice memories with my pops. Capo1014

When I was 16. But it wasn't real poker. I watched my dad play on the slot machine. Then I learned what is bigger full house or drill . Then I still had to wait 14 years before I started playing live. Here in Hungary, I think the live game started a little later than in America or other developed countries. But since I have been playing poker at home I have been playing a lot. I am 45 years old now.

I was 18 and played barracks games when I was stationed at MCLB Albany for my training. Man, those were amazing. We played everything. There were versions I have never played again there. I was out in town at a place and met a cop who was also a fellow Marine while there and we became friends. He introduced me to a back room game there that was worth playing. That turned into me wanting more. I had to travel for work reasons over the years and this allowed me to play in places that were real fun, but the barracks still had the fun in it.
