It is easier to bet on sports than to play poker yourself. Because you can bet on a stronger team they will win and in poker even if you are a strong player you do not know what cards can be dealt to you and whether they are playing accurately or not

I always used to convince myself that I was heavily in profit for both poker and sports betting. I kept track of my poker earnings so I knew that side of it was true, but until recently, I had no idea how much I was actually winning/losing at sports betting and just assumed I was up because that's how it felt.

I'm in the UK, and there was some kind of law change recently that shows you how much you have won/lost on a single site. I checked all the ones I use on a regular basis and realized that I am down over £10,000 in the last 5 years.

Needless to say, I now invest most of my money in poker and have significantly reduced my sports betting.

Sports betting is tough. You must keep track of your investments.
I started making $200 a game bets and was winning. My bankroll rocketed upwards. Then I hit a run of outs and very quickly the bankroll went south. Fortunately when I decided to quit I was still ahead.
gambling is in my blood, and I have to control it carefully.
The only real success I've had is with poker, but bankroll management is very important. I blew 3 bankrolls before getting to grips with BM.

These are two different beasts, imo. Both are profitable. I've just recently decided to bet college basketball. I'm proud to say I'm 4-0 when I stick w/the line. 4-2 otherwise. I will say the main difference is using someone else's advice instead of going w/my gut.

I should try to do Sports Bets.

I usually spend time on slots , roulette or blackjack and of course poker, but sports bets i dont try it because there is low winnings. Maybe im a begginer in that

Poker is easier to overcome.Sports are very tough to beat because of the -110 juice and you dont have access to all the inner infos ( injuries, personal problems etc..) unlike the linesmakers who pay for this sorts of infos that can influence the outcome of a match.

I have been a gambler my entire life. Mostly poker. with some cash bets with friends
on major events. I have not tried Sports Betting yet and may never try it.

I've done a little bit of sports betting, but not a lot. I enjoy putting on a bet here or there but I find that it's not as interesting or engaging as poker is.

I play poker more now as I enjoy the game and find it interesting. Sports betting on the other hand isn't as interesting to me as I prefer having the engagement and so forth.

In addition to poker, sports betting sometimes fits perfectly.
In essence, poker is also a sports bet, as you bet on the strength of your hand based on certain odds. Although poker has several dimensions to sports betting, it is essentially similar. In poker, however, the more dimension I have alluded to is that you can increase your winnings after placing a bet (or with a starting hand). So poker is more complex in some areas, but at another level, sports betting is more complicated because you have to analyze a lot before you can bet to make a successful bet.

I'm very bad in betting. By poker I'm much better. But no expert. Not yet.
