lol the 55 hand was nice, funny way to play AK there.

Also Rex, mind sharing your thinking on the AQ hand? Reasoning behind the line on the flop and the turn? Did you consider folding the river because basically you only beat a bluff? Reads? Just curious because I'm halfway in between thinking it was an absolutely genius play and thinking you should have folded river because all you beat is a bluff.

Just curious because I'm halfway in between thinking it was an absolutely genius play and thinking you should have folded river because all you beat is a bluff.

No real reads on him but at no point til the river in the hand did I think I was behind (could write an essay on why) and the push on the river came as a huuuge suprise and I started to wonder. Didn't see a set making that play because it's not getting called by anything other than a flush and my line (sort of) fits a flush.

So has he got a flush? Possibly, but it felt too aggressive (who's paying him off) for value.

Figured I was ahead at least half the time and with the pot as it was called.

lulz, got killed in my first attempt at 100nl, mainly (actually all because) i played like a complete tool. I thought every 3 bet was a light 3bet, so i 4bet light tons against unknowns, i 3bet with then called a 4bet with j,6 suited at one point which was a personal highlight. I stack off with top pair no kicker to a check minraise which i just instantly thought was a flush draw ldo, not a set.

Sucks when you move up in levels and play it completely different to your normal game so that you don't win any money :(

WTF Canadia?

Btw, why can't I run like Jagsti? Or is it because he plays 23094803948203948203948 hands in a session?

ermm i don't have the tickets yet, stars had a news window thing pop up in my face.

I think I shot off a little prematurely there. By their wording it looks like they have 4 tickets for each of those games, and out of the thousands of players who no doubt have already emailed them on the first come, first serve basis, I'm probably screwed. ****.

Oh noes. If I went to Toronto, in like November, would I be able to buy tickets for a game randomly, or would I have to stab a man who stabbed a man to get some?

prob the latter, plus you'd somehow still have to pay like a grand per ticket.

Nah I think you can get them fine, but they're just really pricey.
