play like 20k hands of 25nl and u should get one easy...
Following up last night's hit parade of premium hands, of course tonight makes up for it -- a 4-table session that is dry as last night's was... wet?... er, whatever. However the abysmally cold deck did warm up briefly when I got dealt AA 3 times within 7 hands on the same table, and the last one got it all in against KK on a blank flop and won. Yay me. On the downside, a bit later I flopped a full house and lost to a bigger one on the river. At least I lost the minimum due to a slowplay that planned to cash in on the river (especially after I knew he hit the A on the turn), but then the river came another A and I realized I was sunk. So I just called him down. Still ended the session up a little more than a buy-in, so I'm happy. That's the second boat over boat in about a week though, I've got to learn to stop slowplaying them EVERY time. And speaking of playing every day, I just played some 50NL 4-tabling, like I've been doing every night this month to get the points, but this one was WEIRD. I've never been dealt so many premium hands in such a short time, even multi-tabling. In one 76 minute session, playing 4 tables and a total of 327 hands, I had AK 11 times (and won with 10), AA 3 times, KK once, QQ twice. I've gone for hours without seeing a premium hand before, and tonight they all catch up with me. Too bad it wasn't during a big tourney, but hey I did end up $74 for the hour or so. 'bout time too, I've been on something like a $200 downswing over the last 2-3 days.
Cool.
