If you’re one of those who has convinced yourself that poker isn’t gambling you really should find the problem gambling page on your favorite poker site’s website. Here’s a bit from the pokerstars site:

Then seriously ask yourself - why do they post this info and these links on their recreational “gaming” site?
Personally I don’t consider poker/gambling to be “evil” all by itself, but in the lives of some people it certainly can be. Just like Guns aren’t “evil” all by themselves either - but in the hands of some people they can create a LOT of misery.
By the way - ever notice what’s at the bottom of the Cardschat homepage?
