Give me aces every hand and I deal with the suck outs but I hv friends who swear they take deuces over aces

Well, your friends have had way to much to drink! lol For real they have not played enough hands or have not had too put to much into a bye in! Aces will kill twos 99.8% of the time! Tell your friends they can give me AA they have 22 and we will just deal the deck out i will put up 5 to there 1 as many times as they want to play!

the pair of aces is much stronger but the pair of two is a sneaky hand where you think you win with one pair of aces comes a set of two and you lose before you realize it. whenever I come I play it:stupido:

Ok, I'd prefer Aces😂 do I even have to explain why? 2's are so bad, like, if you don't catch a 2 on the flop you might just fold 98% of times, even a random pair of 3 beats them... Nah nah nah, I don't play that well to go crazy with 2's, I just fold them if nothing happens🙃

i don't know what that question is, and who can say that they are better hand 22 than AAs ... normally they are better off having hand AAs because they are a bigger pair, stupid topic...

let us know in what situation you ask this question. u mean preflop? then ofc acces lol

but theres cases when acces are smashed by small cards, it depends by lots of factors. if you see more opponents play the blind, is possible you hit the flop with smals cards sometimes

Which do you perfer and why?

both has pro and con:

Pocket A:

• Highest rank pocket card
• Spicy to fold in prefold
• Get very spicy if no set at flop
• Even spicier when you do not hit set on turn and someone bet big
• Far More spicier than India's curry when someone all in on river and you have only pocket Aces

Pocket 2:

• Lowest rank pocket card
• Easy to fold in prefold
• Very easy to fold if no set at flop
• Even easier when you do not hit set on turn and someone bet big
• Far more easier than sealing kid's lolipop when someone all in on river and you have only pocket deuce

If you compare those two, pocket 2 has more advantages than pocket A. However, because I come from tropical country which has more spice, my immune system already developed an antigen for spicy things. As it has no effect for me, I will choose pocket A.

Are you serious? I fold low pocket pairs when there is heavy action.

You flop a set 1 in 8.5 times. And even then may not be good enough if you get to the river.

Just kidding - AA ftw - there is NEVER a time I would prefer going to the flop with 22 over AA.

I used to love pocket deuces. Until I learned how to play poker. Not set. No bet. Simple. Unless you can read AK like Negreanu.

It's called set mining. An ignored art online recently.

The advantage of 22 is that nobody would ever put you on that. Because only morons would raise with it. Especially on a pot raised pre-flop. Hence, set mining.

I prefer aces simply because for some reason it is the best hand in poker. They will win 80% of the time against any pair (except aces) and will always be ahead of any pair of cards.
